This was a beneficial video for installing the 12V-24V waterproof wireless charging head on a motorcycle! The only comment I would have is that when the phone is fully charged I would want to be able to turn off the charging so I am not hurting the battery on my phone. Any suggestions?

Hey there! Glad you found the video helpful. I totally understand your concern about overcharging, no one wants to risk their phone’s battery. Thankfully, your phone's battery will not be at risk of overcharging if you leave it plugged in. Modern smartphones are equipped with smart charging technology that halts the charging process once the battery reaches full capacity. You don’t have to worry about leaving it on the charger! @@Quad_Lock Hello. Are the solder seal pieces provided, and if not, where can I get the ones you used in the video?

Why must this be connected to a switched power source? Is there no on/off switch or button like on the alternative wireless charging head? If no phone is mounted is this wireless charging head still drawing current? If so, how much? A switch of some sort for the wireless charging head would be ideal. That way I could still be charging my phone with the ignition off if I so desired, yet not to have to worry about any parasitic current draw with the engine off and no phone mounted for charging.

Hey there! I totally understand your concerns about the power connection. The reason there's no on/off switch for the Hardwired Waterproof Wireless Charging Head is that it’s designed to be connected to the ignition positive wire instead of a steady positive (directly to the battery). This setup ensures that it won’t drain your bike’s battery when the ignition is off. By connecting it this way, the charger will only draw power when the ignition is switched on. I hope this clarifies things! Let me know if you have any more questions. 🙌 Cheers - Ara
