This song is so goddamned difficult to sing. I've been butchering it lately..alone mind you. But a powerful slow melodic bluesy piece like this can be interpreted in so many ways. Thank god I'm alone when the butchering is taking place. Just me and my piano. I'm thinking a distorted guitar and voice would do it justice too. one day Ill break it out at an open mic..just have to grow the balls to do it. But this inspires me and shakes me to the soul...simply beautiful. When you listen to it with headphones, you hear all these little nuances...my god. This is magic.

I've been attempting to learn this song for my singing teachers annual concert - it's HARD!!! Annie gives this such expression and the beautiful nuances of her voice make you tearful. +Blazer Riss Greetings~ WHAT a great message to wake up to with coffee after working until 3 am in the morning on moving my life on with a massive "purging of things that sting" that was way overdue. All the things you SWEAR you won't give in to retaliation-wise. But truth be told the sound of an electric piano that I detested from Day One going down a 22 story trash chute is one that I'll treasure, albeit with a little guilt...not much, but a little...for the rest of time. "He's CRAZY." No. Actually, TOO sane, too optimistic, and hopeful. Fool For Love is a no shame badge of honour in my book. Nuts, maybe. But we want but we want.
