The song "Sisters" was originally slated to be sung with Tina Turner. But Tina rejected it. Aretha, at the time, was looking to do more contemporary music and she was a perfect fit to sing alongside Annie. Aretha had no idea who the Eurythmics were, and was quite suspicious of Annie's androgynous look. Luckily Dave Stewart was a cool kat, and everything worked out in the end.

Just hate all these male interviewers who just ask the most crass questions about her sex life and you could see he was gunning for the most gratuitous details about her "heartbreak"...maybe he just doesn't understand the many forms of heartbreak there is or would not admit to ever being heartbroken himself...he gives off real creepy vibes.Honestly don't know why Annie gave him an interview...he didn't deserve it but anywy at least we have her here and singing Sisters just like that off the cuff....wow. She is so lacking any pretensions and she is so honest even though shes a superstar
