Hello!! It's good to see your video about Epilespy. I've seen previous ones you've done and gosh, I just totally relate to every bit of what you go through. I'm glad you're thinking of making more videos. What else to talk about? Firstly, it's good to hear about what your episodes are like. I also find it SO hard to describe what a focal seizure feels like. It's good to hear what other folks do to help these pass by. Do you try to follow any sort of diet? Avoid any foods? Any certain triggers you notice? Thanks for what you're doing! Take care!! ♥

Thank you for posting this. Epilepsy affects less than 2% of the population so it can be difficult to find someone to discuss our episodes with. I've only had 1 grand mal and have been fairly well controlled with medication, but still have focal aware seizures once or twice a week and have focal impaired seizures a couple of times a year. I recently caught a seizure on my dash cam as I was trying to pull into a parking spot in a panic as my deja vu was escalating rapidly. I safely parked and after a few minutes was able to drive home. It was weird to see myself during an episode and the obvious confusion directly afterwards. But I, like you, refuse to slow down or let my episodes define how I live my life. Best wishes from the USA.

Great video Annie. I think people always assume that a seizure is always a grand mall (name changing really helped the situation 😕). Your seizures seem like mine to an extent, deja vu, a second maybe two to get to safety if possible, I always collapse, even if seated I will usually wake on the floor. I think explaining that the types of seizure, even if categorised together, can have so many and various manifestations. I didn't understand, I still don't...my seizures have changed over time...I just think that it would be great for people just to understand that seizures are SO varied from person to person and not assuming someone is crazy or drunk if "acting weirdly" would help us folk so, so much. Just a suggestion. It's not as if I know all the manifestations either...but epilepsy is more than an episode of some TV medical drama! Any exposure would be great. Think you are fabulous. Keep going Annie!

hey love thank you for putting this out there. I have struggled to find anyone with our type of epilepsy. I am extremely sick with nausea and vomiting after mine. Medication resistant and looking at surgery soon. any videos would be welcome. Best wishes from Australia xx

Thank you for sharing ❤️🙏🏻 I found books like Brainsaver by Anthony William so helpful and read so many healing stories online. Scientists now confirms aluminum in braintissue rising and especially high in epilepsy etc. After six months with heavy metal detox smoothie and great tools and i have had my first seizurefree month in over a year 🙏🏻🌟

Hi Joanna, this is so lovely and inspiring to hear, I'm so happy for you❤! My daughter has just been diagnosed with simple focal seizures so I'm buying the book you mention. Looking at reviews it seems an excellent source of information. Hope you don't mind me asking what other tools have you used to help your condition? BTW my daughter is in her mid 20's so we can look at any information you give together, I just want to help her in any way I can! Thank you. x

@@iamenough6562 I hope you find relief and something to make it easier. Stopping caffeine, aspartame, MSG glutamate like artificial/"natural" flavouring and maltodextrin etc. Using supplements from vimergy are very helpful to me (high quality brand without additives) like B12 (with methylcobalamin plus Adenosylcobalamin) and Lemon Balm is very calming to the nervoussystem. Body tends to use up alot of b12 after seizure or stress according to A.W. Dr Bradley Nelson's book The Body Code and his method is also amazing (as emotion code) but body code goes deeper into aluminum, toxins too. I found out 50% of my seizures are due to mold etc 🤯 its a great combination with conventional medicine 🙏🏻❤️

@ 🙏 thank you so much for your kind reply, will pass this information on to my daughter and will buy that other book. Supplement B12 depletion after a seizure totally makes sense, will get this also. When you mention mold, where does that come from, from within, something we eat or external such as walls etc?

@ When you mention conventional medicine, what have you been prescribed and has this helped you? My daughter has been prescribed Lamotrigine, this was only Wednesday but we wanted to do some more research before she started taking them.

Same as my dog , he knows something is up and he will be right by my side and or sitting on my lap and that’s when I know he knows something is up so it gives me time to get my emergency med etc or phone someone . My seizures are hormonal
