I REALLY REALLY REALLY love the green and yellow swipes you added to the background. I loved the background from the beginning of the video because it reminded me of grass without actually having to paint grass, but then those couple of stripes you put in were brilliant! I’m in love with this and I’ve never been a big chicken and rooster fan. Love the color choices and anatomy. ❤️ 😊

As far as the canvas showing, does it help to gesso the canvas well?

I did gesso this canvas, I THINK is is the acrylic paint shrinking. Also happens when I paint on wood panels. What can help is painting the canvas a color then painting the background. Layers seem to do the trick. Let me know anything that you discover when you paint. Happy Sunday Bonnie!

Beautiful painting, how do you deal with glare when you are painting? I have terrible eyesight and need a lot of light but I struggle when the paint is wet because the glare makes it hard to see my colors

Hey Tiffany! 👋 I try to have a lot of room light, but not direct light, so rarely any glare. Not sure that would help at all!! If you get a good tip, let me know
