Will he look good on a standard size, any tips you can give me, having a paint night with my daughters.

On a standard size? Like an 8x10"? I'm not sure how old your daughters are, but if they are young I would recommend an 8x10" size canvas. It is also easy to find frames for that size. The rooster is painted here to fit in the canvas so if you change the size, just make sure you cut some of the rooster off, not try to make it all fit on your canvas or you will have a fat looking rooster. Have fun painting with your daughters!
