Greetings! The low light picture quality is top notch. Unfortunately this camera has more against it than for it. Lacking audio is a huge minus and the app doesn't seem friendly. Thanks again for another great and honest review!

I’ve got this camera & found it’s got audio you have to turn it on. It’s hidden in a small bar on the screen. The quality is amazing day & night. To activate audio got recordings & then perimeters & click on video & audio & then apply . It will take a moment to reboot & your all set.

Great review. Wow, expensive camera. The night vision was very good, and I liked the field of view. Surprised at the low fps. Agree with your conclusion that this camera could shine with some fixes.

I have the same NVR purchased about two years ago, and I have audio from the NVR, my mobile device. I have yet to try it on my computer, but I am sure there is audio. Also, I noticed your user screen is different from mine. I have the C800 cameras, and all work great. Thanks for the review on the NC800, I was holding out to see a review and price reduction. After this review, I keep my C800s. Great review.

The importent thing for me to know.. Is the NVR system stabile. It looks like it record good footage at night/dark. Very good thing.Can you trust that it will record event that happens? Can or do the camera overheat. Example in direct sunlight. Thanks for sharing the video.

You need to turn on audio for recordings...it is under recording tab under advanced

It is on record parameters not advanced and I did set it as you can see in 03:48. Live view and recording live view will have audio but if you download and save any motion events and recordings, there is no audio.

Thanks LH for another great review. Pity the Software seems to be letting down a great piece of Hardware. How does it integrate with Smart home systems like Alexa? Can you get the Alexa system to say someone is in the garden when movement is detected? Also how does the night vision work from behind glass windows. Does it have the same reflection issues with IR?

As to Alexa it is not compatible. As to night vision behind glass, it should work as long as the supplemental light is off..because if it is not, then you will also get a glare.

@@richardbeadle3945 I am looking at Annke Vision software that lets you configure the camera and I see the option for the NC800 and NC400. The NC800 really does look absolutely stunning at night wish it wasnt so zoomed out though.

Thanks for the great review (as usual). I still stick to my Ring ecosystem due to the user friendliness of the app and the good motion detection. But as more and more 2K and 4K cameras come up which show superior video quality compared to Ring I really hope that Ring will make one step further and bring at least some 4K PoE-versions of their cameras into the market with WiFi speed being no issue anymore (Stick Up Cam Elite or Floodlight Cam with 4K would be awesome). It will not work. I think Reolink NVR will only work with their cameras.

id be telling that neighbour to get their spotlights off my houses windows, they should angle them further down. No need for light to be shining over the fence and onto your house and into your windows. Imagine if you had a bedroom facing the backyard and had a constant light shining through your windows while trying to sleep.

It is not as bad as it seems but because of the low light cameras, it exaggerates the brightness of it. They are angled down and to the side and also those are from 2 houses. The one on the left is on a timer I assume because it turns OFF at 12 am and the one on the left are ON 24/7.

You need to use smart motion if you want human and vehicle detection which is much more accurate then then just using motion detection

What’s the best NVR camera system. This one you reviewed got #1 from another KZbinr. But in your video it didn’t seem that great. I currently have ring and love the app and how well it works with other ring devices but the quality of video is garbage in my opinion

Literally Minecraft Night Vision @5:20. Dawn during dusk to the point where the only shadows that exist are the ones where light is portrayed during the night where a shadow is normally cast.

To be honest don’t like the camera doesn’t have volume and it meant to be premium camera it’s a joke I am happy with my eufy Cam 2C pro and solo cam C24 2K and eufy cameras I have not like Reolink Argus 3 and the Lumus they were not waterproof at all water got in the cameras all the time Spotlight didn’t work never had any problems with eufy cameras in the rain 🌧

I have used this brand for several years. And since a certain firmware version of the NVR recorder, I have been solving problems. With rok support, I solve several problems that these NVR devices have, and loop support corresponds to the same. Reluctance to solve anything. I am moving away from this brand because it totally ignores bugs in NVR firmwares and 3rd party camera support. Motion detection at the lowest sensitivity disaster. The manufacturer received a list of problems from me, to which he did not respond in any way. I recommend everyone to look for another brand. No one communicates with you, no one will give you company management. An absolute disaster. They tried to shut me up by offering me a free camera as compensation, but I was not concerned about the camera, but rather that I would not suffer financial damage and damage to my name. I do not recommend ANNKE.
