Pick up a set "fish rods" from your local home store, to pass your cat 5 through acoustical ceilings. Much easier in my experience. No need to move all those tiles to run the wires.

Do you find the C500 motion detection too sensitive? I have both the C500 and C800. The C500 detects changes in shades of light via sun movement. Whereas the C800 I find detects true motion of large moving objects. Much less false alerts, if any. What are your experiences with motion detection for the C500?

1. NVR will power off and stop recording. 2. You cannot access the NVR remotely with the mobile app.
