Hey everybody! I have an update info for you... Ubisoft actually listened to my suggestions and as I tested in Full game Tip #20 (9:31) Is no longer valid ! There is no last stand! That is very good news as it was no sense to have to fight agains AI 2 times :) Have fun with the full game :)

Thanks a lot for the good words! You know what... In Anno 1800 there are so many hidden things and you will discover them by an accident or never :D :D :D It's like with influence points newspeper mechanics (all spend influence points in newspaper are coming back to you once the new nespeper will appear) or the fact that you can grab and drop items from ship cargo to another one :D :D sooo many little thigs but I hope that you will hgve great time with Anno!! :)

something that needs to be mentioned about wind direction: if you have a quest where you have to move from the old world to the new world (or vice versa), check the wind direction. if the wind is directly against your ship, you probably won't make it

I really like the suggestion in placing the beer and even, cognac in town rather than near the farms. It gets the luxury item closer for consumption.

Great tips there and thanks for posting them in such a concise way. Even tho I have played Anno games previously (didn't bother with the futuristic ones tho) it has been a long time ago, think 1404. A lot to take in for the new or returning player, easy to refer back to the video tho. Well done. BTW if tip number 20 is no longer needed perhaps write that also in the description, rather than just in a post :)

Yeah I had the same thing! last Anno that I've played was 1404 with Venice expansion :) And I also skipped all that futuristic bs :D Anno should be about Anno :D :)

The warehouse tip is bad Carts will start moving towards a warehouse with just 1 unit of stuff in them, but they can unload up to 8. This means check whether carts that are in queue at a warehouse have more than 1 item before even thinking of upgrading. Do not upgrade unless your production buildings are being slowed down. And even if they're being slowed down it's a lot more efficient to add another warehouse instead of upgrading. You get 2 loading ramps instead of 1, the maintenance increase is less than half, and it costs way less materials.

Yeap i totally agree :) IT is kinda stupid that it is better (cost lest in maintenance) to have 2 warehouses than 1 upgraded xD :D but you know Anno logic :D thanks for giving a good point!! :)

very useful tips man, thank you. one point i want to mention is don't use the re-roll cube because it take a lot of money from you. When i was playing, i didn't notice at first so i used it a lot, then i found my money suddenly went from 150000 to 9000. i want back in the save game and saw it was from the re-roll cube i lost the money 😅😅😅

yeeaaah I had the same thing when I just started in closed beta I had like 250k and suddenly I found my self with 3k or something like that :D Soo I know that feeling :D :D there should be some more visible information that it is taking so much money from you :D or at least that they are rising the price of next roll :)

nice guide, also have request if you can make another video about the mechanic of the Anno it self like how maximize your production building. like from tutorial you know 1 clay pit can take 2 brick factory, but what about other building like the 1 pig pen can take how many slaughter house.

Upgrade from T2 to T3 T3 wont require pub scnaps worker clothes no more but will want newer stuff so upgrading to T3 lowers the needs for schnapss and worker clothes while increasing the need for bread etc

Yep this is correct. I just started playing this game and got excited when I saw +50% productivity but then noticed it was only for grain farms. They can still be helpful but are building specific. Also the buildings will be highlighted blue when they are affected.

I still not quite get how this itnerface of selling works. I scrolled down number of timber to 20, icon is set into right (it pop up "sell") and nothing happens. I still have exactly the same number of timber?

Ok, I will try to expalin it :) When you will click on item this bar will popout with violet circle 2:15 in the video. It has 3 options "Balance", "Buy", "Sell" so you will change it to "Sell" now you have to set trade limit with this "gold/yellow" arrow. Green bar represents number of goods (f.e. timber) that you have, and blue bar shows whats the maximum number that you want to store. So In the video I had 46 Timber (2:13). I've set max number that I want to store to 62 (2:16) and now if I will have in my Warehouse more than 62 It will be marked in red as "For Sell" and now. If any A.I. ship will sail to your Harbour it will try to buy goods that are marked "for sell". And at the start of your game only Sir Archibald Blake and that guy in prison (forget his name :D ) Will send ships on a random basis to buy stuff so to increase posible trade options try to get trade agreement (2:30 in the video) with other AI players to get more ocasions for that automatic trade =] woooaa I just realized that I wrote sooo many words :D :D :D sorry for that :D hope that You will be able to understand my magnificant post :D :D :D

I tried in all three options, I never had this blue setting :/ However, as fair as I understand, no resource will be bought out instantly - only when some A.I. ship come and will want to buy it, have space in their inventory and only limited to the space on the ship they have, is that right? So in my case, apart from the issue with the colour, probably no one was interested in my resources?

@@MrRaptoos Its rare, but the AI can buy oddball resources. If you want to get better sales, check out their ports to see what they're buying. AI trade ships will try first to buy those things when they visit you.

How did u fertilize hops?

Each Island has it own fertility which is shown above the minimap. Also if you will travel with your ship and get to Unsettled Island at the top of your screen you will also see what fertility it has. In previous Anno games there was always one empty fertility slot to fill it with seed items but in Anno 1800 there is no way to add fertility to your island :( maybe they will add this later one :)

Yeap I found out that You can do this =] I just made Qucik Tip Video about that and as Minni HD said all you need is special Item and Trade Union Building :)
