Yay!! How fun. I’m very tempted to join!! Will you let us know if you hit gauge with the cascade 220 and if you like the needle size and resulting fabric (or have you possibly already done that)? I love everything about this (other than that Paige is busy with exams!!!). You mentioned A Gentleman in Moscow and I will go with that and say I really enjoyed all 3 books I read by Amor Towels. Gentleman and Lincoln Highway and Rules of Civility. I got his short story collection for my birthday and haven’t started that so it will be my next read, maybe/probably. Thank you for an amazing channel. I’m new to knitting and have watched hours of you and Paige chatting. I love your format and teamwork and chats. ❤

Thank you so so much! I absolutley loved the book of Gentleman in Moscow, so when I saw that it was being adapted AND that it was going to have Ewan McGreggor I nearly melted I was so happy and excitied. Such a beatufil story and a beautiful book. I've got a copy of Lincoln Highway somewhere but it's very daunting and not sure when I'll work myself up to it.

I just have to say though, Gentleman in Moscow is one of my favourite books ever, but how did i not know it was made into a show?! With excellent knitwear inspo apparently 🤣 adding it to my to-watch list!

I love love that cardigan! I’m a new knitter just knitting my first garment, a slipcover. I wonder if the Field Day cardigan may be a good beginner cardigan. Do you have any thoughts about that? Hello! Never too late if you still wanna join the KAL, just need to get started (if you'd like to). The sewing pattern is a basic tutorial from "Secret Life of a seamstress" if you wanted to try that.
