Great to see you again Anny! Your locs look amazing! I can't sleep with anything on my head either because I get very hot and sweat at night and I don't want wet sweaty roots. I do sleep with a large satin scarf over my pillow. I pull my locs high on my head into the pineapple bun to sleep. I'm one year October 10, 2022. My journey is going well. Learning a lot about my hair. Still trying to trust the process. 🙂

Your hair is beautiful as always. I will be Sisterlocked for one year as of Oct 3. I have a long way to go. I'm not sure if any are locked yet but I do have some that haven't even swelled. Seeing that you're not fully locked almost 4 years in, I can probably expect the same.

Loving your hair and your journey. I'm 1.5 years into SL and guess what??? My loctician just "released" me to wash my hair without braiding and banding today!!!!!! I'm sooooooo happy!!!! Do you still b&b sometimes? Also, do you color your hair?

Maintaining natural hair is something else… I used to spend 5hrs weekly on a good week. I’m teaching my daughters an easier maintenance schedule.

Your hair is so beautiful! You are giving me a little hope! My hair is curly, fine, and thin, especially in the crown. I am 1 year into my Sisterlock journey. I am not feeling particularly good about the way my hair looks. I am trying to learn what to do to make my hair thicker. Any recommendations would be welcomed.

I really didn't do anything to my hair. I let it thicken on its own. I don't like to give advice on things I don't know. But I would say, be patient and ask your consultant for advice if you haven't already done so. 💖

You re inspiration, I start my sisterlocks journey in March 2022 and I have just had my 3rd retie. I did lose some locks however I'm loving it. Pls share some tips on what to use daily or weekly etc otherwards every retighten my hair is brutal until I add some water and oil

In the beginning, I sprayed my hair with water sometimes. Right now, I really don't use anything daily or weekly. But next update I'll expand on that. 💖

I couldn't shake the idea. I was set on Sisterlocks in the beginning. I opted for Microlocs to save money, but I regretted my decision. They were beautiful, don't get me wrong. But I'm stubborn like that.
