Mom reached up to 101 with sharp memories too . Mahilig sa pansit, pandesal, cereals, adobo, sinigang, fish, chicken, vegetables, noodles, chips, cakes etc . Lahat kinakain walang diet o restriction pero lahat in moderation. So far healthy siya hanggang 100.

Hi doc, share ko lang po, ung grandfather ko po had reached the age of 100 just 3 months away from turning 101 when he passed. And up until his dying days sobrang sharp ang mind nya, still able to recognize all of us. He never had a special diet actually sobrang di sya health conscious when it comes to his food intake. So maybe he is one in a million excemption sa cnasabi nyo po na pag hindi healthy ang diet even if you reach old age e wala ng quality ang life. Sobrang nakakabilib po talga si lolo, at lahat ng tao dito smen amazed sa pagkasharp ng brain nya.

I had a patient who’s 106… she eats whatever she likes but she once told me when she was 99 y/o that you should eat in moderation. By the way, she loves fruits, all kinds….

I think they eat anything but at the end of the day, they eat in moderation always hitting the std calories intake per day without them knowing it.

Madam, good evening po! Ako ay hihdi po expert pero kahit sa aking mababaw na kaalaman, ang lahat ng mga pagkain ay hindi nakakasama kung gawing simple ang ang pag process. Kung puwede sana i-suggest natin sa mga may ari ng mga bakery na huwag danihan ang paglagay ng asukal. Maraming bagay na puwedeng ilagay sa pagluluto ng tinapay para sumarap.

I'm a filipino doctor practicing in Calgary, Canada. I am glad that your are spreading low carb to our fellow Filipinos. I see a lot of Filipinos here suffering from chronic diseases because of the overconsumption of carbs and sugar.

I agree, everything should be in moderation. Matagal na yang mga promotion for do's and don't on diet to be healthy but nothing works. It depends on a person's self discipline.

Hi Doc, good p.m. We have the same principles about the risk of consuming high-carb/cal foods. Thank you for making this video about high-carb food risks. Six months ago People were arguing with me about these facts even fresh fruits are never believed to be a risk because it is natural. I just told them I couldn't do anything if they were still eating what they used to anyway I am not the one getting sick? My post-stroke paralysis is now becoming normal because I really applied what I had learned from my personal research and I am now even doing intermittent fasting + daily walking exercises to burn stored glucose in the liver and muscles. It works! I made it to lower my high BP and I stopped my expensive maintenance because I did not have money to! I am already broke. Maybe through this video, they will be enlightened that this proves what I have told them. They were finding it hard to adopt what was true. I also learned these from Dr. Google's latest studies. Once again, Thank you!

I purposely watched this in high volume while my kids are around so they'd hear and told them it's a Doctor they're hearing. LOL! Thanks, Doc! It's never too late to change our diet into something better and It's better to pay the farmer now than the doctor later.

Thanks doc for the advice! I cannot live without eating rice in 1 day or else I’ll feel week that’s why I take 1/4 of a measuring cup of fresh ampalaya juice 3 x a week. Thank God my glucose blood and urine test had always been normal. Bawal inumin ito pag may liver disease…. For me, it’s okay to eat what we crave for but in moderation. Wag matakaw pag bawal iwasan… remember prevention is better than cure!🙏💪❤😇

we are used to have fasting in our church and for many years our pastors are doing they rarely got sick. now I started to buy those foods low in carb and start to fast either for so many years high in cholesterol and taking medicines for choleterol ang hihg blood and latestly uric acid. so I believe this low carb can help me and isntead of buying medicines I will buy foods for me and my family. I now begin to eat no rice and bread. thanks to my cousin for sharing dr. j. rojo. May God bless you dr. josephine rojo

Kanin is our staple food. Most Pilipinos cant go along without it... I love to eat rice... I am 82 already and I am still very good... I think it defends upon the physical constitution to the one eating it. I dont abstain from any food.. I pray for it and and eat anything and everything and they said I still look like 60 years old .. modesty aside...

Papaano po ba sundin ang proper diet na diniscuss ninyo, and paano po makakuha ng copy ng list ng proper food diet, willing po akong matutunan and i-share sa family, relatives and friends. Thank you doc, ang galing nyo mag explain bihira ang Dr. na pareho nyo dito sa Pinas kaya mga Drs sa state ako nag subscribe almost 2 yrs din ako walang rice kaya lang minsan Hinde maiwasan ang bread at mga pansit, Tama po kayo nag ketogenic ako at nawala mga inflammation ko at pumayat pa.66 yrs old na ako at normal lagi blood chemistry ko.

Dok in reality all my sickness is vanished especially my attritis, i eat 7pm vegetable and meat then in morning i eat 9am ,vegetable and 6 pcs of hard boiled eggs minsan naoomi pero tiis lng salamat dok 1 year na ganyan ang routine and no more medicine intake ! Salamat po ! Kapag me swerete magkita tau sana! Me regalo ako sau!

Gud, evening po doc. 76 years old na po Ako. Please Doc. Hulog ka po Ng langit sa lahat Ng tao.may I request na magpablished po kayo Isa po akong followers nio. Nag normalize po Ang BP. ko. Nagbawas po Ako Ng kanin. Ano po mga food low carb at high curb few days pa lang po akong nanonood. Pagpalain po kayo ni lord.

Your information sounds good. I would like to learn more. I just had an increase of A1C from 6.5 to 7.7 cuz I’ve been eating rice for the last 3 months. I’d like to learn more of foods that increase inflammation

My mother in law is 92 years old...she eats less rice not no rice..less salt not no salt...at tama yong sinabi ng iba ..in moderation lang..
