ANOTHER AERO ENGINE ARRIVES

So June has been another busy month. We've got some great technical footage of Ivan and John doing a few tweaks to the MG, plus work on the Emeryson 500cc car. These videos will follow shortly
This is just a short video, showing the latest arrival to the SHED and thanking our subscribers for their support
A massive thank you to Brianne in Canada ( / @spurgear4 ) for alerting Ivan to the fact that there was a 10 litre Hall and Scott engine available on Barnstormers earlier this year. Ivan got in touch with the seller, Larry, in the US and is now the proud owner of yet another aero engine. It arrived last week and he is delighted with it. Just needs to decide what car to use it in.......Any suggestions welcome
Also many thanks to the SHED Racing supporters who generously donated to Cure Leukaemia for the London to Paris cycle. Thanks to your support, Suzie and her friends raised over £22,500 of which £2,000 was down to SHED Racing subscribers. The team all made it to Paris and Ivan did the honours of collecting them and the bikes in Central London in the Sprinter Van.

I saw a Hall Scott 6 cylinder engine years ago at Motat ,Auckland.This type powered the first seaplane ,(Model 1),produced by Boeing and sold to the Walsh Brothers New Zealand Flying School ,est .1915,at Mission Bay,Auckland.

Great purchase. Worth looking up the Hall - Scott engined Dayton - Wright racer built for the 1920 Gordon Bennet race. Moulded ply fuselage , ply skinned solid balsa wing , flaps interconnected with retractable undercarriage, fully enclosed cockpit.
