Everyone should change to Öhlins forks and TTX rear shock on their bikes! It makes a huge change and is the best investment. Stock forks on the S1000RR are good and can be adjusted to any rider weight and rider style but they have limitations.

I love Ohlins ❤️ having had them on my last 3 bikes so it seems a shame to cover them up with all that aero that most riders won't even benefit from. It's also funny how BMW has arguably the most MotoGP looking bike yet they don't even have a MotoGP team. All that being said, this build is looking pretty much perfect and I can't wait to win it!

Yes, it is a shame that the gold Ohlins forks get mostly covered up! But the riding benefits remain :) It would be great to see BMW jump into MotoGP, but at least we get to see them in WSBK.

Utter criminal these never came with ohlins. Certainly completes the M. Love how u dont create new wild concepts just add to and make better whats already the pinnacle of engineering. I feel its how most designers wish there products came out the box but are restricted by cost, homologation and emissions😢

They definitely could have come with Brembo and Ohlins. I think BMW is doing much more cost cutting and trying to have larger margins than the competitors. I can't forsee Ducati and other brands being able to offer those names on their bikes, while a company such as BMW can not.

In wsbk they use different ohlins forks and rear shock,the fronts are really expensive and doesn't accommodate the aero wheel covers, I saw a video of Superbike unlimited build an old generation s1k with a wsbk forks and they cost a fortune,you can't get these unless you special order them for a superbike build and you don't care how much it would cost!!

This is highly concerning, considering I will be picking my bike up this week. Ironically enough I got the S1000RR M Package but my dealer called and told me they had an M1000RR coming in and was curious if I wanted it. This may have very well answered that question. To be honest, when they announced the 2024 Fireblade I was chomping at the bit for that bike. However, they still haven't given a release date and I grew impatient. Perhaps this was the wrong choice. I love the Aprilia and Ducati but don't have close dealer support, so it's kind of a deal breaker for me.

I had a 2012 Blue Fire S1000RR in which I put over $12K aftermarket accessories (full black Öhlins suspension, Brembo RCS 17 Corsa Corta brake and clutch levers, Rizoma mirrors and indicators, full Akrapovic Evolution Titanium racing exhaust, Samco hoses, Lightech racing rearsets,...) and I had one of the few S1000RR's with full Öhlins. I sold the bike in 2021 in Spain and bought KTM 2022 1290 Super Adventure S full black. I'm glad I did. I can't understand the stupidity and arrogance of BMW to not include full Brembos and Öhlins on ant of their M series bikes. A fucking joke. You pay top money for their bikes that are all losers on the world stage of racing (failures in WSBK, no history in MotoGP) and after €35K for this crap they make and you get BMW blue colored Nissen brake calipers and middle grade Marzocchi forks. Wow ! What garbage. For the €30-35 K I could buy a Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2 with the WSBK winning heritage, MotoGP winning heritage and all the top spec goodies like the Öhlins, Brembos and Bosch plus the sexy factor. BMW trash
