1. Studio looks good but maybe a tad too dark. The neon sign is a keeper for the studio! 2. I like this Direnzo design better. The leather blends visually perfectly giving it a very purposefully designed look. I also really like the side scallops, they add to the visual design and give the case a vintage car look. Wearing the black dial while driving a vintage car would be a perfect match, like wearing brown shoes to match a brown belt.

So, Jody, the light logo in orange and blue it's good, you can be happy! I can't wait to see it swapped with the Erebus one! For the Direnzo watch: it's really good! I mean, original, recognizable, refined, and even the odd complication looks good! You can try a green watch sometimes, why not... The only complain I can have is the color of the lume on the hands, it's the same of the rest of the face, why not make a brave move and add a different colour lume? And, if I could ask, how is the crown action? Is it stiff? Limp? Big? Small? Slippery? It's a manual winding, so I think it's important to have idea of how the crown works and feels. Thanks for the new video, and thanks for Direnzo for this magnificent timepiece!

I love Sergio's design ethic. I wish he would say which car hood the design was inspired by. I could of asked though. He has always been responsive to messages. I have collected all but the 01' Jodi it is you that brought him to me with the 02'. I thank you for that. I'm in for the blue dial on bracelet. He did say he was going to offer a rubber strap in the near future, but it is still in development.

I really like the design of this one and the DRZ 02R Aerolite. The case size on both had stopped me from purchasing either one but the more I look at the shape of the case and the bracelet being almost as wide as the case I might be able to make it work. Now with all that said the finishes are quite nice. It has always bothered me when a brand (no matter micro or established brands) design a nice case with brushing that is top notch and they slap a bracelet on where the brushing is of a different coarseness (not as fine or more fine than the case) or the case brushing is going in a different direction than the bracelet or vice versa. This watch does not suffer from that, it is spot on. The more I contemplate the size for me while looking at pictures I think to myself with the dimensions it is being more in the dress watch size for myself due to wrist size and some taste influence I get this picture in my head with it having another version of this model. Like I said I feel this is a great watch from design to finish but I have imagined/visualized it in another version especially the black or blue with high polished bits (hands, crown) full polish case, bezel and bracelet. Make the glossy while keeping the existing dial pattern. I feel would make a very nice "Modern" dress watch that would go great with a lot of todays more modern suits. Like I have stated in other words I think this watch is great the way it is and as I type this, the blue version is in my shopping cart but the size holds me back from the purchase. I just dont want it to collect dust and not be worn. It is to nice to not show it off. This might sound crazy but do I purchase it and give it a high polish on the outside and on the inside have the jeweler rhodium the hands and apply a glossy clear coat to the dial and make it a sweet modern take on a dress watch. Can you picture that? Crazy thought/Idea huh? Who has done crazy stuff like that? Especially to something new? What do you think Sergio? Make another skew for the same watch?

The DRZ02r is the one i want to pick up at some point.. It just hits the right spot for me. Those hands. That's dial. One reason why this one isn't quite it for me... Is I'm such a fan of the traditional small seconds hand. This is interesting but for me it's a step back for that complication. I agree about needing another more compression variant on those model as well. Definitely a fan of Direnzo's designs.

What an amazing watch ! It honestly makes me think bigger brands have got lazy with their designs (Rolex comes to mind). Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like these watches have a lot more thought and passion within them. Amazing time for watch lovers really! I’m sure there will be a point when designs like this are unaffordable for most just like we have seen in the automotive world

new studio looks great, and love the logo light! The only critisism is the visible bulbs on the shelf as they are too bright and distracting. I would suggest some sort of cover (paited wood board perhaps?) that would make them indirect lighting for the shelving.

I love all of Sergio’s designs and have followed him since the beginning. Usually choose to have each model in an outlandish colour for my collection, but this is indeed more conservative I options. So it would have to be the blue. Although I don’t have a green Direnzo yet, the red dot means that at the moment anyway I find Green and Red together rather triggering.

I prefer the look of the leather strap on this watch personally. Some more exciting colours with this retro futuristic look would have been nice like you said. But the blue looks great. Always a pleasure to see Direnzo's new releases !

Many good qualities to this watch no doubt, such as the scalloped sides. Aside from that, perhaps it's one of those designs that we'll grow to appreciate more as time passes. Good luck to Sergio, and one day perhaps he might re-issue the 02R.

I think the black dial suited the watch more than the other colours. The 1970s sci-fi aesthetic never gets old. At the price point the bracelet needs to be quick release (and maybe you said it was) and the divers clasp needs to have a push button quick adjust. On the strap I wonder just how small a wrist can wear this watch. Your 7" wrist shows 2 holes of adjustment for smaller wrists. A smaller wrist may well suit this watch but I'll bet that if you're wrist is smaller than 6.5 inches you'll need to punch a hole in the strap to make it fit. Not just a Direnzo issue this one but the video did show this up quite clearly.

Direnzo have probably the best designs, finishing and dials under 1k. If they had the slightly newer Sellitas with longer power reserves, they'd be almost perfect, but like you said they all wear slightly larger than dimensions suggest though which means they're not quite for me.

I see much to like about this watch, but the white dial background on the wandering star complication is jarring to my eye, to the extent that it's a deal breaker for me. Changing that background to black or possibly the dial color might make a world of difference.

I am a Direnzo fan I have two. I understand the need to keep coming up with new designs but the Wandering Star complication is not my cup of tea i'm afraid, i think I may have prefered a colour matched disc. Just my opinion, great vid.

It's another great and daring design from Direnzo that nonetheless, to me, never crosses over into being shouty about being different. Yes, DRZ02, DRZ04, and DRZ06 especially all have lots of presence on the wrist and the 2 and 6 especially venture into the unconventional, but they don't necessarily boast too heavily about that on the wrist. It is, however, essential to match it up with the right strap, which in this case has to be a bracelet. While the leather matches the shape nicely and I think will quiet down the black version a little, I don't love the look of that brown on this blue. This model again is full of cleverness, but there are also just a few too many factors that aren't quite right for me. It starts with being a manual, yet barely shedding thickness and even less so visually. To me it's then a palpable sacrifice to go manual. The helmet shape case looks great from the top, but less so from the side. I think the concept with the organically carved out and polished inner lugs should have been carried over to the side to create not just indentations, but true scalloping towards the underside to shed some of that heft. I'm not a designer so that may not work, but for me this could have married well with the concept, both referencing curved/oval air inlets on classic cars as well as perhaps a celestial nebula from the side. It might have demanded a softer drop or shoulder of the brushed upper towards the side rather than the hard angle we have now. The bracelet is a small but appreciable upgrade. The dial is a small triumph in being distinctive yet recognisably Direnzo and I especially like how it works with the hands. For me personally I'm not convinced that lollipops or the lume disc are what I would seek on my watch, but it does work here. In conclusion I can appreciate what has been done even if for me there are too many aspects that I feel ambivalent about.

Love the studio! On to the watch. Had the 2R. It didn’t mesh with me. Great finishing but I think the links in the bracelet need to articulate better. Also, those leather straps are a bit uninspired. But the watch itself is a looker for sure. And extremely well made. Plus a great fitting strap for being a butterfly clasp.

Love the new studio set up 🤩 You wanted feedback and no point me saying it's great nothing to change. You wouldn't say that about a watch reviewing. Only comments have is that the 2 white strip lights to the left for the viewer a little too bright. Brightness pulls focus away from you Jody which can't be right. I'd possibly make white brightness close to the soft white brightness as per the wall logo. See if works. There is also little too much brightness on your face. Either powder up to tone reflection or reduce facing light source a bit. Could of course be super hot in new studio 🥵 Otherwise looks Top of the Pops!.. or should that be Top of the Watches! 😁 Super fan of the channel. Keep up excellent reviews!

Jodie. It's certainly sort of different if you haven't seen that type of design before. Wandering Star. To be honest, Jodie, it's kind of quite nice, isn't it? The way that it draws your attention to your valuable time. You can see how the centre dot changes reflection as the watch angles. I just feel that if it always had a very light silver looking centre dot. It would be good .......when it tints & darkens (that middle dot) it slightly detracts your attention........ Yes Jody, I just feel that the middle dot in the wandering star should be lighter coloured silver at all angles. So your focus goes to that Red Wandering Star.
