Hell I got to baby set myself that's a full time job itself. And you right you got to pay the bills no one else is going to pay them and I don't want them to. My bills my responsibility, these dam hand outs just burns my ass. Anyway have a great weekend Warren and family.

I understand the working alone thing, I also worked alone when in the service industry and found it easier to get things done, even though I am one of those that made the statement, “ if I could I would be there to help in a heart beat to help, knowing full well, I wouldn’t want help either”, (I am 74 with really bad knees, I still find things to work on, just takes longer is all, and work pretty much by myself still), even when customers offered help I wouldn’t take it. I’ve witnessed so many guys retire and stop working and within two years I was going to their wakes. Don’t stop sir, you will live a long life.

Working alone can have the benefit of teaching you to work smart. Like I've always watched you take precautions and mitigate risks, doing things slowly and carefully, because tomorrow is another day to earn bread, and I welcome the rare videos where you say "I took a day off, felt like shit" because sometimes that's when people get injured, working tired and being in a hurry. I can't say I learned about your trade, but there's some life lessons too in these videos. Thank you.

I don’t believe that Work kills. Stress kills. My dad started working when he was 10 years old he farm for 42 years raising grain hogs and cattle. He retired and helped me on the farm part time. Yes his back does hurt most of these old farmers backs do hurt. But he keeps going. He mowed his lawn yesterday and then bush hog the field behind his house he worked all day long. He is 81 years old and still going strong keep working buddy if you ever want to move out of the hippie state of California income work in Indiana in the Midwest you would have all the work you could handle and we could definitely use a mechanic like you that knows something in this area

Not sure if you've ever tried it, but a dead battery, disconnected, miller bobcat set to 'mig' can be a 17-28vdc power supply, in an emergency can boost a dead battery, 10 mins likely way more than enough. I wouldn't suggest it for boosting, truck booster cables would be best for that, but a quick charge on a regular battery. Most of your battery boosters are 17-18 volts on high.

I agree with Warren to a point I get more done working alone. But sometimes it is good to have help but don`t want help anymore than needed. Just like yesterday I pulled the engine out of a wrecked 94 Dodge diesel. I got everything rigged and ready then I had my nephew operate the forklift and I guided the engine while he lifted and backed up. 10 minutes later he was off to another project. But I will still offer to help Warren for things like that. Again I do find it better to work alone that way I know where the bolts are and how things go together. Sadly this Dodge project was started by someone else last year then he had medical problems. Now I am having to figure out how to finish this project. I am swapping this cummins into a 92 Dodge that lost the killer dowel pin. When the pin came out it broke the camshaft.

As long as you keep moving you will be okay, because my body is jacked, but if i did nothing, i would be in trouble. One of the best thing's you are doing is protecting your hands from the fluids. My step dad got oil poisoning, and he can't even touch it now without his skin splitting open, but as long as he wears gloves, he is okay. I always wear gloves, because when i saw what that shit did to his hands, convinced me. His hands don't hurt as bad as they did either, and he is 70 wrenching on his old car's, and whatever else he does, because he's like me, can't just sit in front of the tv. I have to be careful because heat really fucks with my multiple sclerosis, and then i'm in bad shape, but the ac helps that. The one thing that sucks to work through is bone pain, but you might get lucky on that, i have it bad because i had a rare condition that pulled the calcium out of my bones, and it messed up all my joints and spine, plus broke a bunch of my teeth. Damn dr. missed it for year's, and the craziest thing was when i would sweat for year's, there would be a white powder that i could shake off my clothes, and that was the dust of my bones. Since i had surgery to fix the problem, no more white powder that i thought was salt. At 52, i just hope at 62 thing's will be okay, but we aren't promised tomorrow. The only thing i would consider, is getting life insurance so if something did happen to you, your wife would have security. My dad died at 45, his aorta ruptured, but he increased his life insurance policy to 100,000, and it paid the mortgage off, and any other debt. this was back in 1994, and my mom worked, but his income was a lot more. Hell, i doubt we have ten year's left of how it is now, and thing's will be harder to get, and i see a lot of bankruptcy for people. The best thing anyone can do, is get out of debt, and get your home paid off. G-d bless.

I don't see you gettin sick or unwell from too much work,,I think what most people are saying is your joints will give in ,,your knees,,hips,,and all that,,,And I think you already know that's a given with the kind of work you do,,,sure I can see you living to 90 ,,my grandad lived to 99 years old,,and he worked harder than any person I've ever known,,he was as fit in mind and body as a man half his age,,but all his joints were compleatly shot,,

Your non apologetic work ethic is a large part of your success. I made a comment to another creator who was complaining of missing his lunch break to finish a car for a customer at his dealership. The comment I made as a business owner was that Ive never let the clock determine when I eat. His following gave me the “you’’ll regret that later in life when your body breaks down from working too hard “. Its more important to me to deliver on my promises than worry about working too hard or limiting the hours I work to preserve my health. When you work that way all. the time you become conditioned for it. Like you said when you sit on your ass and get lazy health problems arise from that as well. Keep up the great work Warren.
