I know what ya mean Doc about being out in the woods with snow falling. I lived in MI on and off for 8 years and got to do some deer hunting up there. It was always beautiful.

I live in mill spring nc...right by lake lure... When should start to treat my Bermuda lawn with barricade and emergence.... it starts out great..then It's taken over by weeks crab grass... thank you in advance

I do enjoy you videos. However, I'm not big on spending my resources on grass. I like a natural yard with mulched leaves and plants for the birds and wildlife. I'm sorry but grass and all that is involved with feeding and watering seems to me to be not very environmentally friendly. Whenever I plant a tree or shrub I take into account on how it can support the wildlife and environment. I have heard that golf courses are the most environmentally unfriendly things you can build and maintain. I love your videos but not so much the lawn maintenance. I was sorry to hear your orchard is gone. I loved to see the animals eating the fermented apples on the ground and staggering back into the woods .
