Now for a story about the 9999 that shows when you turn it on: this is just a repackaged (and very, VERY abridged) version of this thing called "9999 Games in 1" or something, which claimed to have 9999 or so games in it but I can assure you it's a lot less, just the same games at different speeds. I actually had one as a kid. I recognized the "9999" title screen straight away.

I was totally not expecting my early childhood to smack me in the face with this video. but when the game went on, I remember I spent my summer in Hong Kong and my mom bought me this red battery-powered handheld with the same exact games on it. it had pink buttons and the inside was gray, and looked like a slightly more rectangular gba sp. this was around '96 I think. I remember this one game I specifically liked on it, it was a tetris ripoff and I think it was from one of the shit ton of lettered games on it.
