The yellowing is the Plastic oxidation, it happens to older carded figures, the sad part is the OG figures are starting to deteriating because of the plastic, love your channel and videos

Nice pickup. Yes, I was around when the figures were that cheap. They were only $1.15 for the first wave in 1977 at my local Marine Corps Post Exchange. Also, cool backdrop!

I have 2 original Gamorrean Guards that I got back around 1984 or 85. My best memory of them is I buried one outside for like a week one time then dug him up. That one still has some of the dirt on him. I was around 5 years old. I still have all of my original SW stuff which is all vintage, and I probably have around 80 figures give or take and a BUNCH of vehicles, accessories, etc. One of the coolest things for me is each item has some of my childhood history with it because I have memories for each thing. I want to make videos about each item one day because I think the stories are funny and cool.

Hello there, nice moc, might it be a mim (made in Mexico)? I have the Gamorean Guard as well, mine happens to be a mim. Just checking since many figures were made in Mexico that were intended for the U.S. market. I don’t believe u showed the cardback so I couldn’t make that determination myself…
