Hey you can actually fix the Hokusai connector piece by moving the sash piece that matches the one on her belly, around on the inside of the brushes.

the reason why Hokusai's leg peg won't push further is cause majority did not sandwich the violet cloth inside her brush holster. Which should be done as its suppose to connect with the rest of the violet cloth on her stomach. And the blue cloth where the peg is attached is also stretchy enough to allow a finger to scootch in and push the peg fully into her leg. But yeah, definitely one of the harder one's to assemble for me too lol! But she is easily worth it! she looks as epic as the hokusai in my fgo account!

I went to Akihabara 2 weeks ago, and picked up the Radio Eva Asuka, the 3.0 Jersey version Asuka from Mandarake, and got the Hokusai figure as well. What a coincidence!

From what I've learned from Union Creative is, their quality control is very hit or miss. Because I watched an unboxing of Neko before opening mine and their figure seemed like it was in much better condition. So, if you really love her design, you can always take that gamble. Standing back 2-3 feet, you don't really notice paint issues (aside from the hair issue with mine, I guess that is just bad luck, haha).

As a fan of Shining Resonance: Refrain, that figure of Sonia is one I would love to add to my collection. Also, fun fact, it's designed after one of her illustrations in the Art Book. I don't know if you play RPG's or not, but I highly recommend you check the game out.

Thanks! The flower arrangement base is super easy for anyone to do, I just went to a hobby shop (i.e. Michaels) and picked up a bunch of things and stuck them together. As for the Evangelion one, I watched a bunch of different KZbin videos on making bases, and I made a tons of mistakes, but it was a fun learning experience. At the moment, my free time is pretty limited, so, I don't think I'll be selling any bases, especially since I make so many mistakes making them; but who knows, maybe in the future. ☺

Oh noes! You caught me! Butt... to answer your question about the Elf on the dried moss, I did put down a burlap cloth afterwards that looks like bedding. It covers most of her, but I'll need to keep an eye on her for some of the hair strands. I did think about the paint transfer or moss stains after the fact, but I'll just have wait and see.

Thanks for the feedback! I did intentionally put the ferns over her butt since I have people in and out of my house often, and occasionally have kids in the room. That being said, I plan to display her in her cast-off form at some point when I know the house isn’t so busy. 😂

Hahaha. I open my figures/boxes when I am ready to do the video. So, I start accumulating a pile of boxes, hoping nothing was damaged while they sit sealed up. By the time I have time to make the video, I'm like "screw it, I'm going to open them all at once, it's going to take too much effort to make 3-4 videos". And voilà, one big unboxing. 🤣 I'm hoping that once I deliver a large project at work in the next month that I'll go back to normal hours, and I'll have much more time to work on videos... or gaming.

I am actually not that advanced and I still have a lot to learn. But I'll try to summarize how I build my videos. I currently film everything on an iPhone using Filmic Pro, which I guess the app I am using is now call Filmic Legacy since they got greedy and tried making the app a monthly subscription. But there a lot of great camera apps with great tutorials on the iPhone or Android (I just don't use the built in camera app since it is very limited). And I film everything in 4K and convert down to 1080p. Someday I'll buy a real camera, haha. I edit everything in Adobe Premiere, which took a bit of experience of playing and editing, watching other content creators for ideas, learning transitions and other things that make the video flow. Watching my videos a year ago to now are very different; time and experience really is the best way to learn. I record my voice through Adobe Audition, where I did watch a few videos on how to clean up my voice, and learn the ins and outs of removing Esses and mouth clicks and the sort. I still am new to audio, and need to do a deep dive over the summer how to record my audio a bit better. KZbin has been a great resource for learning tools, learning edit and video techniques, and getting ideas. It also helps to just play with things to see how they turn out. I continually try to push myself to add something new I learned in each one of my videos, where in every video there is a little bit of growth. Not sure if that answered your question, but hopefully it gave you a little bit of insight in my crazy process. ☺

Hi! I typically buy from a variety of sites, mainly going through AmiAmi for most of my preorders, and sometimes pre-owned. I'll occasionally order from SolarisJapan if I'm looking for an already released figure that isn't anywhere else. And I'll do some pre-ordering from GoodSmile US for some figures, depending if they are selling exclusive or I can't get elsewhere. There are other sites I'll hit up from time to time, I try not to put all my eggs in one basket.

I am totally with you on the Azur Lane figures. I don't play Azur Lane either but bought all the art books as well, there are so many designs that I wish they would do. That Ayanami by Knead is so beautiful and was really high up on the wish list, but I have had to limit myself in what I could get and decided to stick with Alter and Mimeyoi figures.

It's not as crazy as it seems. In this case, I've had some of these figures come in around November time frame. A lot of these were pre-orders I received between November to April, so basically 1-2 figures a month with 3 of them being Pop Up Parades. I just threw all the boxes in a corner until I had a moment to open them and record my experience with seeing them the first time.

Yeah, I think the Neko figure put that nail in that coffin for me. After seeing the promo photos, I pre-ordered with my eyes and not my head. I got to learn to wait on UC figures.
