Now what we need is random meta deck, with heads up matches between y’all and subscribers. Like, say there are 8 meta decks. All 8 are on a table labelled 1-8. One of you gets one randomly assigned, a sub gets one randomly assigned, then you have 60 seconds to go through the cards, determine which one it is, then dice roll highest picks GO!

Game 1 you woulda made it wayyy closer with the Flynn he cleared by accident, you would have had at least an 8 lore lead. Also having played a deck kind of similar to the emerald steel. I have noticed that if you can just play discard early and often, you have to try and stall till you can flynn. Jim's deck had some counter play to your deck with Rapunzel, Lantern, Mufasa, Doc. Playing cards faster and for free, punishes the discard draw engine. Smash has more value into Amber characters, and swords doesnt help emerald if you have to still swing into them with characters you cannot afford to lose. The Steel play is Shift Tink at 4, Sing Swords for free in the same turn, so 3 to everything clears way more of his characters with bigger butts. There is a nasty card we get from inklands, that is gonna make the discard deck better too. Cant wait to see it again with Set 3 cards too.

LOL well...how much time do you have?? If you check out past podcast episodes, we've talked about the concept in depth multiple times. To put it as plainly as I can, it's basically what people are playing right now, what decks the majority of people play and what wins.

We've played Universus. It's an interesting system for sure, at one that we're not the biggest fans of tbh. That could also be because we haven't played much of it as well, but unsure.

They need a card where if opponent discards a card you gain lore. Madebe a lair or what ever the castle type cards will be in next set

Yeah there was so many misplays on the emerald steel side for when you didn't draw from your Prince John's like when you played the hypnotize you didn't draw for making them discard and then when you made him discard off the Bucky you didn't draw two from your Prince John's
