It's funny how alot of people are excited for something that's coming up and people always ask when is it coming or what not instead of having the patients to let the devs take there time doing things so that they make sure everything is perfect and such. I'm excited too but I know how to be patient about it.

Why did the developer say that there will be boats faster than any boat in the game when in that one picture it says ”top speed: 80kmh” for the bew dlc boat. Currently fastest boat is going 98kmh

Learn how to spod fish and you'll not only catch them, but you will catch oversize carp. I don't know if Bo has a vid for this, but Soopa Dave definitely does.

I think they could improve the fish mechanics more such as seeing smaller fish getting eaten by larger fish but the ocean update is what i want to see whenever they do have a release date, ill be patient.

@0:02 some of you DLC Deborahs don't understand how much of a grind it is to simply get to lvl 75. I have 1800 hours in game, over 1500 uniques caught, and am the president of my own club... I'm at lvl 74. Imagine being lvl 5 and wanting to go saltwater fishing. Get ready to wait for several years of work to pan out 😂

The level requirement is silly though. Why not be flexible and offer a way to pay & get in? I mean the game is free, it’s another option to support the devs. If the only option is to grind ridiculously slow to even experience the ocean fishing, I’m out.

Once the angler dropped I delete this game with no intentions of playing it ever again. Even with the addition of the ocean map. Can’t bring myself to grind a game that really is designed to be a money pit lol. Extremely pay to play. Guess what. Angler just dropped the Africa map. 10$. No level requirements. No fishing license to purchase. It’s fantastic.

Yep, and if you would have spent the same money for all of the anglers dlcs for a year of premium in FP on Black Friday, you would have made it to the end of the game in a years time and all would be good in the world! 😂 but at least you have Africa!

@@bdb-gaming very true! Well, great thing is, when you feel you’ve completed the angler, fishing planet is always there! Fishing planet is designed to make money from a free game- same as call of the wild the angler at this point. Except you had to spend $10 to fish somewhere in the angler, and you’ll have to spend it again for every. Single. Place. That comes out. Fishing planet is always free, unless you don’t want it to be. Overall, I think the angler is a fun little game. Pretty easy to get all the good gear, find a bunch of fishing spots and then… that’s pretty much the whole game. Because it’s so easy to get all the gear and locations, the progression through the game is pretty simple. Not much else to it at that point but to wait for the next dlc. Fishing planet on the other hand has quite a system, finding a balance between gear, travel and licenses, working your way up from location to location. It’s more of a classic RPG, which I enjoy with my gaming history. However, I can understand how some people may not enjoy that same pace of progression.

not liken the xp or cash i see on those . you know as power creeping goes just look what xp and cash were like in marron river ,Amazonian maze and congo how would this map compare to those because the leveling does drag on . im at 73 right now but i watch a ton of vids on this game. i hope they give us some powerful rods and reels i would really love to use an ocean rod and reel at the Amazonian maze and the congo when i get there .
