Aww man, seems like this league needs some management. Shouldn't be a team lighting up other teams 7/8-0. I also agree with others that you're too good for this level, but as long as you're having fun that's what matters the most.

Hey Sam great game , I think one of your problems with your catch glove is that you curve it inwards / downwards trying to scoop the puck. (See 3:59 ) . It feels like you dont trust your glove to do the catching You should be catching in front of you like a baseball catcher. Reach for the puck in front and stop it right there. I used the "goalie reaction ball" to help me with that from Xhockeyproducts (no affiliation) just tought it would help.

Goals- did you only play 2 periods? I put my snow from the shavings out front of the goal to possibly throw off anybody who tries to deke in front of the net.

From Ryan: I learned to put snow on the sides of the net, to stop the puck bouncing back out. Hopefully it will stop extra goals.

I always put the extra snow on my goal line. Could help prevent goals.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's how our ice is almost every day...but well, at least we have ice, right? I believe packing the snow at the sides is not allowed, I used to do it a lot util a ref one day actually kicked it and told me that next time I would get a 2 min minor. What stick are you using? have you scored any goals with it?
