Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this video. Our plumber showed us how the auto works and that was it! I woke up this morning absolutely boiling! Thanks for making it so simple too.

I don’t want the app on my phone but I do want to programme the heating to come on and off from the wall mounted thermostat. Is there an instruction video for that?

Does anyone know if you can make the room stat show the temperature all the time, rather than just show blank?
@dPPHydronicHeatingMordialloc4 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty confident that you can't as this is a battery power saving method.

Why does this controller have a controller for water heating times on a combi-bouker, if a combi-bouker always produces instantaneous hot water anyway? Is the water timer even necessary? Would programming water times to come on not be a waste of electricity?? Possibly even leading to excessive burner use in the boiler?
@dPPHydronicHeatingMordialloc5 жыл бұрын
Yeah sounds useless to me, but it might be useful in different markets.
@JonnyBlueChair4 жыл бұрын
The water timer is not relevant for a combi boiler.

When I move the switch to Auto, there is no flashing blue light....I've double checked every cable and it's all set up correctly, but I can't control the boiler from my phone since the 'Auto' option is not working. Any advice?

Crickey I haven't come up against that before. We no longer support it. We've started installing Nest's instead. FAR more user friendly.

dPP Hydronic Heating 1 second ago I agree. Since this video we have invested in better voice recording equipment. You are correct. On my Mac the background music is in the background.. On my iPhone it is too loud. This video was created for our customers and happens to rank well. When time permits i'll repost it. It seems to be very specific equipment as you can see there are 19000 views and only a handful of comments and thumbs down.

This thermostat is difficult to programme. This video aims to be a guide that you can come back to each time you need to remember how to use it.

Salus have *STILL* not resolved the connection control issue between Alexa devices and the iT500 Receiver. This means that Alexa cannot control the heating, despite a number of negative comments about the *Alexa Skill* . This is *NOT* an Alexa issue, but needs a fix by SALUS. The primary problem is the inability to log on to the Salus system via the Alexa Skill. I wouldn't buy the iT500 until this is resolved by SALUS

Wonder if the Hive system is compatible? Mind you Hive is twice the price (over £200) of Salus so I would expect it to be !

The background music is totally unnecessary and too loud. I could not understand the pronunciation of some words and defeats the purpose of the video demonstration.

Please re-record this video without the music or have the music substantially reduced. This is an unprofessional demonstration and does not speak well about your digital awareness skills. Depending on one's music system, the 'background' music is magnified and combined with the Australian accent of the presenter (who is perfectly fine btw) non Aussie's cannot decipher some words. Based on this video alone, I may be forced to dismiss the product from consideration. Thank you.
