In regards to the Combine Performance, let's remember that the NFL organization wants those metrics to be relevant! From a team perspective, there is some value being able to compare prospects against historic NFL players (going back to at least the 90s). Teams can only do that comparison with the metrics used for those historic prospects.

I am worried about a Lions reach at 29 too. I can also see Holmes falling in love with a receiver like Legette or trading up for AD Mitchell. As long as it’s not another RB 😂

@@jhoe164 disagree. Gibbs is our only pass catcher with great rac ability. We already got a vertical threat in Jamo and possession guy in amonra. A great after catch receiver could really help maximize our least year with Ben johnson. Also dpj sucks

Agreed on Moses - Good player, cheap, and adds flexibility with the 30th pick. There's no need to make a position that's already secured for 1 more year uncertain with no clear answer. I'm not sold on Faalele, but maybe they see something I don't. I think It's odd to create such a significant need at an important position for no reason, especially after losing two starters.

I think anyone saying Jacobs is slow hasn't watched him or just sees his build and makes an assumption. It like you said isn't elite speed. But he has break away from a would be tackler speed and if anything I'd say that his best year was had while he ran a lot of wide zone and counter as opposed to just shotgun dive whatever you wanna call it, gap even. In my opinion the best way to use him is to have athletic fast tackles who can help him because when he's past the LOS and past the tackles he's one of the deadliest backs in the open field and part of that is he has enough speed to make big runs. He sometimes doesn't but when he does IE Seahawks last year he does have long speed.

I know it's not a draft question, but more a hypothetical scenario. As Oliver Kline 52:57 stated that the QB market is gonna be expensive. Could you see the Cowboys letting Dak walk and him signing with Miami. Miami trades Tua to the Seahakws or Cowboys, and either a late round QB or veteran starts for Dallas in 2025?

I’ll throw in a non draft question. Why do good CB’s have such low trade value? Especially when it’s a premium position. Why are guys like Jalen Ramsey, Stephon Gilmore, and L’Jarius Sneed going for mid round picks
@varden81894 ай бұрын
Age and contracts mostly. Plus any potential injury concerns. Not to necessarily to do directly with the position

People think smaller=guard and bigger=tackle? Weird, ive always thought the exact opposite. Going up against stronger guys on the inside, need less agility (less space to cover), dont need to be quite as technical on the inside.

To the Sehawks fans that hate on the Barton idea, I just want you ask yourselves the last time you heard that teams like Dallas have had any needs on the interior post Zach Martin. Just one truly elite interior guy can make it so that you can get by at the other 2 spots if the tackles are alright. Not saying Barton is definitely that good, but thats the process behind that pick

40:45 The Jags are the living embodiment of the curse of mediocrity. Their entire team is in this state of "good enough we can't easily justify moving off of him, but not good enough to be a top 10 player at his position and elevate us to a true contender." Like Gabe Davis, Mitch Morse, Darnell Savage all have a "Good not Great" tag on them for a team that needs Great players to improve any further. Also, describing Baalke's strategy using the word "fascinating" as a quasi-derogatory is both very apt and very funny.
@JaredTG.4 ай бұрын
This jags fan wont defend their drafting. They act like they're playing a video game and there aren't real life consequences to their actions. It makes the team fun and interesting sometimes but follows very little rational logic. They have no clue what they are doing. Theyre just collecting players they think are good without any strategy behind it.
