In case you're wondering why Preston sounds so much clearer: as we set up to film, my microphone cable got stuck on a door handle and the cable was ripped out of the transmitter! So, I had to use a different mic. ​@@gentlemansgazette You would find this interesting. Arrow Shirts was part of the larger company Cluett Peabody. In the late 1980's my Grandfather Patrick A. Hidalgo became the CFO for Cluett Peabodys international division and also the CEO of Arrow Shirts. He left both positions after a number of years in search of a new job, so it makes me smile to think that one of my favorite (all my others are history) KZbin channels and stores co-opted that logo for themselves. I learned on how to wear a suit, get it bespoke and more as well as became passioned about taking care of my style with the GG. Even though I’m a metalhead and have lots of metal t-shirts, boots and jeans I managed to up my game in taking care of the details. So thanks to all the GG team and happy anniversary!

Gentlman's Gazette, I'm a long time fan. I grew up with this channel, learned to shave with this channel, and now, as an adult, still watch your content daily. Congratulations on a great ten years. It's an honor to finally comment with a specific question for your team. I've been wanting a pair of traditional balmoral boots for a very long time, but am not yet in a position where investing in a pair of Crockett & Jones is financially appropriate. I recently stumbled across a company online called Beckett and Simonon. They have a rather unique business model, that allows them to offer a properly stitched shoe at a very affordable price. Beckett Simonon makes a good product at a great price. I have a pair of their Dean Oxfords and they are certainly a well-made shoe. Are they the best of the best? No, but for the price, they are an excellent value. Also, my experience with their customer service team was excellent. They provide personal follow-up to ensure you are happy. Buy with confidence.

Raphael's smile always intrigued me, because I thought he was either having a joke on us, or that he had a secret he was just about to spill, or maybe he would not ever! Eventually, I realized it is his personality, and he did have tons of incredible information to share with us over the years. My bow tie for my tuxedo came from Ft. I think you should do some lectures at schools - for young boys - teaching them as they embark out into the world. Also, just fyi, men's clothing is typically much better made than women's clothing. I did wear a suit that my mother wore when she was about 25 years old, then I owned it and wore it when I was 25-35. Beautiful suit! Thanks guys!

I love that you space your videos out so that its not a chore to watch them every day. I know algorithms love daily videos, but quality will be compromised. I prefer longer videos with more information and elaboration. Also, I feel that some collaboration with shoe care and restoration experts like the Elegant Oxford and Kirby Allison would be a blast. I’m an old rough cut truck driver but thanks to GG I have learned how to act like a gentleman and how to wear the right clothes from tying a bow tie to the right socks to wear. I surprise my wife constantly and she is no longer ashamed of me when we go to places. Thanks for your channel

You've helped me to gain a lot of knowledge about classic men's style, classic American actors, fits etc. In fact, because of you I've started to make a research of the same topic, but by the other side: 30's - 60's men's style of Soviet Union and socialistic countries as DDR or Czechoslovakia. And, since I'm from russia, I can learn a lot from vintage clothing, which, I think, is not can be found in US. So, your channel gave some ideas of making some articles on topic or maybe stole your channel idea, haha. What do you think, should I?
