We got lot of messages from our social media pages on the preparation of the 03-04 Ford Mustang Cobra Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) bushing removal and install prep work that will be going into Project (THE GRUNT) 1993 Ford Mustang LX Notchback Foxbody restoration and COYOTE swap build. We got a lot of question on our social media about the 03-04 Ford Mustang Cobra Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) bushing removal and install prep work that will be going into Project (THE GRUNT) 1993 Ford Mustang LX Notchback Foxbody! Good Morning, MC75 from the top of my head I do not know the dimension of the hub, I am very very sorry sir. We got a lot of run around and asked a lot of questions without anyone responding to us. We thought we videotape our experience maybe it might help someone out there. The car is in storage in Chicago and the video was done a long time ago sir. Lot of the memory is sort of hazy since I do not do this everyday. We also have two IRS 03-04 laying in the storage. A complete IRS setup came up on my local Craigslist.Would you concider $2500 to be a good price?

STARBREAKER71 does this complete IRS have all the factory bushing replaced with a maximum motorsports irs bushing rear grip package or better aftermarket bushings? Does it have the stronger ford performance racing 8.8 differential cover? What gear is in it? Does it still have a factory half drive shaft or a stronger aftermarket one? Have there been any upgrade to the IRS set up you are talking about, share the link with me here it will help answer the question if the $2.5K price tag is worth it. Thanks for your input. It looks bone stock.They say in the ad that they believe its got 327s in it. Judging by that FB ad you posted, its priced WAY too high.

STARBREAKER71 You are welcome that is why we are here! We try to respond to every inquiry. Even the seller is not sure what gear is in that IRS, hence the saying "THEY BELIEVE ITS GOT 327 GEAR IN IT!" They are thinking in their mind that those IRS are rare, but they are not as rare. I bought my 2004 IRS complete and bone stock for $600 from North Carolina and then we upgrade/rebuild it with better aftermarket parts.
