Not ALL felons are bad. People tend to focus on what once was and not what is. Present tense is what matters. In Jess's case she is reformed. She transformed herself and her life, no longer a drug runner, shes sober , no longer a terrible person as she said she used to be . Shes a gorgeous woman newly engaged mother of 3. Shes sober and responsible. She uses her trauma experiences to educate others. No one talks about that though you know. They leave out the whole picture.

I don’t think it should be socially acceptable to ask people about their plans regarding having kids/more kids etc. Maybe I’m jaded because of my own experiences 🤷♀️ I had my first child no problems and my husband and I agreed to try for another when my son was 2 - which was the start of 4 years of miscarriages and heartbreak before being diagnosed with a brain tumour and told I could not have more children. During that time I was relentlessly told I was selfish for not giving my son a sibling and that he would be a “selfish only child”… then 2 years later I had my miracle baby 💖 It was a very difficult pregnancy but I felt so blessed. I now have a 15 year old and a six year old and until a year or so ago I was STILL harassed by people that my family would not be complete unless I tried for a girl 😂 I am very happy to have my 2 boys and wouldn’t change a thing. Moral of the story? People are frickin weird.

Someone asked me the other day what sgurd i have been taking cause recently lost so much weight in a short time (196lbs-130lbs in roughly 3-4months) and if i planned to ever have anymore kids one day (boy mom of a 13yr old as of monday, and 8yr old with a 8yr old bonus boy) and i literally spent hours after breaking down after, i laughed them off in the moment and said must be the good ones and probably not, but they didnt know my true story, i started dropping the weight because my uterus was trying to end me (along with a couple other health issues we are working on) and that my dr fought for my safety so i could continue to be here with my living children, and i had a total hysterectomy due to medical needs (after we found out, had i not removed it, the cancer they hadnt even noticed yet would of taken over within no time worse then what it already was - they didnt catch it until the biopsies after surergy my dr just knew me and trusted me and my body to believe that we where missing a bigger picture then what we already knew was a problem) then yes i always wanted a baby girl, but i also lost her almost 5yrs ago at 12 weeks in a hospital alone while the father was with our youngest introducing him to the women he was cheating on me with, and was too "busy" to be by my side, Its been 12 weeks since my surgery, losing all the body fat i had, my curves, chest, bottom, and now having nothing but bones and hanging skin, on top of losing everything but my ovaries to keep me safe, has taken a major toll on my mental health and feeling like a woman and to know i walk around and half the people who dont know my story now think that im just a relapsed addict that they can ask insesentive questions to about more children, ect literally destroys me, neither of my boys dads have ever been stably active consistently and to know i finally have a life partner that i would of loved to grow a child with and fill the rest of our heart's with and because of my own body we will never be able to has effected me more then i could of ever imagined, sometimes i wish people would just ask, whats your story instead of assuming or questioning things that could truly be extremely tramatic to someone, i know i made the right choices, and i know in time it wont feel like it does now, but man.... think before you speak to a stranger. 🫶 thank you for speaking up about how that question is NOT okay to bother someone with.

I am 7 years in recovery and work as a recovery coach so it’s not that I don’t understand substance use disorder. He is a narcissist and he has never been concerned about what is best for our daughter but rather how he can make my life as difficult as possible and in the mean time essentially taking food out of her mouth. So the person asking may not know you personally, they may just think she seems like a good mom. We wouldn't ask Jess bc we know her and it bothers her right. But someone may meet her and see how happy her children make her and she seems like a good mom plus she's newly engaged so it's a normal question to ask.

11:41 Just an FYI: it’s a bad idea to say females when you mean women. I know you’re probably not going to see this comment (the video is a few days old already, and you have a life outside KZbin), but I have a good reason for making the recommendation to say women instead. The reason: I have it on good authority from a man I know who ended a friendship over this, that predators will use “females” instead of “women” to camouflage with normalized patterns what they’re really saying when talking about their attraction to underage girls. The logic comes from the fact that every human female is female, but only adults are called women, so saying females lets them know they’re being inclusive, but hides it from the people who would justifiably hate them for meaning girls either as well as or instead of women. The asshole who revealed this to my source misjudged who he was confessing this shit to, and now I think it’s important to let anyone who is inclined to (even just occasionally) saying “females” instead of “women” know that they probably don’t want to contribute to normalizing that pattern of speech. It’s going to probably become the normal way to talk anyway, but we can sure as hell slow down the evolution of this and deny them the camouflage as long as possible. I know you’re not a predator, and you would never use it that way, but if this pattern of speech is allowed to stay it’s actually got serious potential to be harmful. Normally grammar changes and speech evolution are fine, but this is the one exception that needs to be paid attention to. If you see this, I really hope you’ll understand I’m only passionate about this because of its potential in the broader social sphere, and it’s not a criticism. I don’t expect good people to realize the harm here without an explanation.

Ok I do the seatbelt thing too every time I get in the car because I have trauma with things being too close to my neck. And I got a ticket for not wearing my seat belt like 2 months ago. I tried to explain that I had the seatbelt clicked but it didn’t matter. Be careful cuz I didn’t know I was ever gonna get a ticket for that! I mean it makes sense but it never even crossed my mind

I had no idea Berners daughter was named Emerald! My bonus daughter is named Clover, my husband always said if we had more kids he'd want Emerald or Jade etc because he has a thing with green lol

I may not keep up with your videos as much as I use to but I hate when people are labeled “felons”. Literally it’s something on a RECORD. No one is BORN A FELON. Jess is NOT a felon she’s a woman and Berner is NOT a felon he is a man. People make mistakes and if they fix their mistakes that’s all that matters. Some of y’all are so BORED with your life and seriously need to find something positive to do with your time.

Old cars had lap belts and some had no seat belts at all. The lap strap is better than nothing, so I wouldn’t sweat it.
