I've been watching your videos for a while now and appreciate the information you share. Do you know why the fill settings on Fresco would be greyed out? I want to expand my fills, so I don't get those jagged edges, but it won't let me. I have a subscription to the adobe creative cloud.

Glad you’ve been enjoying my videos. The only reason your fill would be greyed out is if your layer wasn’t pixel or vector based. If it’s a placed image tap on the layer and tap the convert to pixel layer option.

Hi Chris i missed the live event but i have a question, and i cant seem to find a solution on the forums. When i resize my ink drawing smaller it pixelates. I"m drawing at 300dpi and i'm using 2smooth 2 be forgotten brush...any advice?

Well 300dpi is only relevant in relation to the inch size. For example, if you have an image that is 4” wide at 300dpi it’s only going to equate to 1200pixels so that will appear pixelated with any zooming at all. Typically I like to draw at a minimum of 4000 pixels wide, which would be over 13in at 300dpi.

When we be able to add audio files to our animations do you think? Is it a feature coming soon? or is it still way off? thought you might have the inside scoop? 👀😉

I don’t know, but to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen based on how animation works in Fresco. They call it motion because it’s not necessarily animation in terms of sequential story based stuff, instead it’s about adding movement to an anotherwise static illustration where everything is on a loop. I guess it could work with a looping clip, but who knows! Unfortunately I don’t have any insight to what’s planned or coming.

Is there a way to make vector lines automatically connect to a chosen point? When I'm tracing I find it hard to get back to the exact starting point and it requires touching up to look like a smooth transition.

Not as in the snap to shape or straight line feature... But if you are tracing something and try to bring it back to the exact same spot

Sort of. If you get close and hold you can do the snap shape thing, but it might mess with what you’re drawing in some situations.
