At 4:15, FotoKem did all the 5-perf and 15-perf 65mm film for Oppenheimer if I under the Blu-Ray extras correctly.

If you are in Australia then its a good idea to go with Neglab (processing) and Memorylab (scanning).

Hey what Davinci 18 color space settings do you use for 16mm? Thanks!
@nkosiroma Жыл бұрын
I haven't even updated to 18 yet, lol. I don't do much color work either, so my settings are usually kept pretty standard.

Even the lowly Keystone cameras can give good results.

Mr. Nkosi, how does one go about pitching 16mm services to artists and brands? Keep up the amazing work!😎

I’m still figuring that part out! Lately I’ve found majority of engagement comes from KZbin and Instagram. A lot of my approach is just getting the word out, but this year I’ll be trying some different strategies to connect with more clients and hopefully agencies!

@@nkosiroma Got it! When I get back on insta I will give it a try, I'm in Va and for some odd reason its hard to pitch anything to anyone😫. But thank you Mr. Nkosi and good luck to you!

Personally haven’t used one! But I’ve seen some really cool stuff shot with them and some neat mods done on the cameras!

I scan a lot of footage for clients who shoot with the K3 (I run The Negative Space, which is mentioned in the video as a lab/scan option). The K3 is a very tricky camera to work with but if you can make it work it's a decent option. I maybe see roughly one roll of film come out ruined for every 4 or so rolls shot with the K3s, usually because of a lost loop. Sometimes this is an operator error due to poor loading but it seems like it happens more often than not despite careful loading procedures. I highly recommend a Bolex Rex-1 or similar camera, which aren't a ton of money now that some of the prices have come down a bit

@@negativespacefilmlab good to know! There's a guy selling K3 for like 1500$! thought that was a bit much. Always good to see another option like the Bolex.

@@negativespacefilmlab Thank you, I feel like it is much more reasonable to rent a film camera rather than buy one.
