I used to live in a small place surrounded by woodland which was full of Great spotted and Green Woodpeckers. I used to love hearing them early in the morning, the noise echoing through the woodland. Subscribed to this channel pretty much since you started (as well the podcast thanks for giving a damn) recently patreon too, wish I could give more! Good to see you getting better. Take care Otis! I lived in Nashville from '86 to 2000. Gentrification was starting but had not taken over. Used to see Gillian at a place on 2nd Ave called Windows on the Cumberland and you could park right out front. She was with a group of women called Joy of Cooking and they would bake cookies and give them away at the gig..

Hey Otis, Shouldn't life be all about "Being in the Moment"?! The thought of being a fly on the wall at Guys house! I can still smell the Dark Room at my high school. Ahh the touch, camera, guitar or paint brush. I love to cycle through Golden Gate Park in a pair of shorts and a KPIG t shirt while a chunk of people ride by with a few thousand dollars' worth of bike and gear. Was at my Father in laws cabin this weekend and was down by the creek and saw a chunk of wood riddled with woodpecker holes! Hope you feel better. Keep spreading the word!

Woodpecker haha. Yeah, being a musician and just banging on the guitar moves people as much as anything. Moving around the song list is very effective for me too. I still have my Pentax K1000 from my art school days. It is full of grit from when I photographed an old Drive In movie theater in a dust storm somewhere around Childress, TX. I was on my way to Amarillo in 1984, and just ended up at the right place at the right time. Or perhaps the wrong place, depending how you look at it. I had to turn back and get a motel room until the storm stopped after midnight. I made it to Amarillo in the morning and got my oil changed. I am Subscribed. We can sight the occasional Woodpecker here in the Dallas area.
