Thank you for also using your platform to inform women on the crucial topic of menopause and HRT. My mother started using HRT in the early 80s, and at the age of 91, she continues using Estradiol.

This was amazing. Thank you for sharing and helping women everywhere. I'm 68 years old and 20 years post menopause. There was no one and nothing like this then. We had to deal with heavy periods that appeared whenever it felt like it. I'm so glad those days are over and even happier that there is so much more that can be done now in my daughters/granddaughter's lives.

As a 73 yr old, I am on Estradiol, progesterone & testosterone (compounded)…..I just began hormones about 7 mos ago…..so far so good, however as a hair stylist since 1971, & still working 3 days a week, I would love to see your hair straight just for fun❣️. You have a lot of hair‼️. You are blessed🎈. So many of my clients, young n old, don’t have thick hair. Enjoy your straight forward videos to help women…..we’ve been lied to for all of my adult life from drs & the WHO agency…..You are helping so many with your time & professional info.

Thank you for the recommendation! Had my appointment with MIDI yesterday, got my hormone medication levels adjusted, started on them the same day! I already feel better! Slept like a baby last night. Very easy appointment, and they accepted my insurance. No longer have to wait 3 months to get into my obgyn. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this valuable information! I’m 44 and peri, been having hot flashes, irritable, tired & was crying out of blue over the dumbest things a couple weeks ago😂. I just started progesterone cream last Tuesday & it’s like night & day👏🏻. Praising the Lord for some relief! 2024 I’ve had up & down emotions with peri & in Jan had 2 periods that caught me off guard. I’m finding it’s time for me to take care of me even more! Magnesium, Vit b & iron are my daily supplements & I have maca & ashwagahnda here to try, and my nightly progesterone cream helps me sleep like a baby (the wild yam one) ❤

I am from Belgium, so these rules don't apply to me, but... I am 52 this week, and since starting menopause, guess what? I have ongoing, I know TMI, so be careful to read on, chronic, diarrhea, and also incontinence, but not pee incontinence if you catch my drift. It's so difficult. My doctor put me on medicine to calm the bowels down after about 4 years' worth of struggle (Mebeverine hydrochloride, generic name) and at least the incontinence is *gone* goodness: thank the Lord that's behind me because, honestly? I was in diapers 24/7, let's face it, how else, right? I had too many "accidents" to keep up with that (laundry). I don't need to draw anyone a picture. And yes, I feel it's important to address and talk about. There is no shame to this, at all. There's probably *plenty* of women who can relate to this on some level or other.

This covered so much material, but I have a follow up question to #7… Will HRT help with the elevated LDL levels? Thank you for your open and honest conversation regarding all these medical issues.
@WelcomeToMyCurls3 ай бұрын
Hi! I don't know the official medical answer to this...but for me personally, the HRT did not bring down my LDL levels. I started taking a baby dose of a statin about 6 months ago and now my levels are great!

I was so excited when I saw your first video about Midi. I immediately used your link. However Midi does not accept patients on Medicare and won't even accept as self pay. So us over 62 ladies are excluded.
@WelcomeToMyCurls3 ай бұрын
Are you sure about that? They should accept any patients as self-pay. Did you contact them to make sure or were you simply using the website?
@berylwestby70893 ай бұрын
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Unfortunately, I'm sure. This is copied from their website when you make initial account. "Note: Midi is only in-network with PPO plans. Deductibles, coinsurance, and copays may still apply. If your plan is an HMO, Midi is not in-network and your visit will be self-pay. Unfortunately, regulations prevent Midi from treating Medi-Cal, Medicaid, or Medicare patients, even as self-pay."

Forgive the off topic question, but we need help! We are having a nightmare of a time with our AirRobo Pool vacuum. This is the 2nd one. (First one stopped after a month). This one stopped within a DAY. Did we buy the wrong one? My husband said, “Ask Renee”. He’s so sick of tech support making him film videos. I think we just need a reliable brand. Thank you for listening. Model#PC100. I buy almost everything you put on your “love” list!

I’m sorry to hear that. I had an issue with mine too and had to go through the same steps with their support. It had a one-year warranty and they sent me a brand new one. Mine worked fantastic until we stored it for the winter then the “brains” seemed to get messed up. New one is working perfectly. My advice is to straight out request a new one since it’s under warranty. Again, I’m sorry to hear your having trouble 🥹

P.S. the hormones in birth control pills are not the same and actually not good...and if you want to get PG it can decrease that ability. This hormone subject is very complicated...and the main answer is we need ESTRODIOL.. SO MANY DOCTORS WILL NOT PRESCRIBE.. I AM AN EXPERT ON THIS SUBJECT. I have finally been able to get my Estrodiol and testosterone cream. I am 77 years old..I had my cardiologist order a CT- angiogram..need to know if I had calcification in my arteries..mine is very low.. so I decided that is was safe than brain loss, heart attack...cause high cholesteral...heart attack..Women need to have the estrodiol replacement. THANK YOU RENEE FOR HELPING WOMEN..YOU ROCK!!

Hi! I've never experienced that. Actually, I don't even realize the patch is on and I always feel great! If I ever forget the patch or it gets diluted from me being in the pool (without coving it) I certainly feel the effects of it missing.

Hi Renee. My question does not pertain to this video. I've been watching your other videos about going gray. At one point you said your curly hair was straightening and then I saw another video where you were a lot grayer and your curly hair definitely looked more wavy to me. I looked for a more recent video of you (found this video) and your hair looks curlier again. I too have very curly hair, thinking about going gray, but terrified of losing my curls. Did you do anything to your hair in this video that made it curlier or did your curls return after you thought the gray growout was straighter? Sorry my question isn't about menopause (been there done that, don't want to do it again). I'm sick of coloring but I'm only 9 weeks out from my last color at this point.
@WelcomeToMyCurls3 ай бұрын
HI! My new grey hair is much softer than my old colored hair. So during the grow out process, there was a texture change. My grey hair needed time to grow and regain it's own curl pattern. But right in the middle of that process, I became anemic due to a uterine fibroid...which caused me to loose a lot of hair. During those few years my hair was very thin and weak. After my hysterectomy in Feb 2023, my anemia was stopped so my hair started growing back normally. It's finally getting caught up and has bounced back beautifully! So that's all to say your hair will change and fingers-crossed be better than ever 💕

What is kinda clear is that Midi is "heavy" on the HRT. Is it not? That struck me throughout this entire video. Why? I know I have a lot of issues going through menopause, but... but... I will never go on HRT as a couple years ago doctors were so dead-set against it. I am being monitored for post-menopausal bone-loss and osteoporosis (my mom had issues with that). I think choice is much more important than just "pushing" HRT on people.
