No one ever acknowledges this but in the comics when Pym grew large he was called Giant-Man (Gi-ant). For awhile that’s all he did and never shrank small.

He also used the name Goliath when he was taller than usual. Which is why Bill Foster was known as Black Goliath.

One thing about Marvel movies you have to take into account is they put stuff into movies for future events. So some times you won't appreciate the movie until later on. Every thing has a point to it. Which is why you have to make sure you watch in order.

Here are some Ant-Man and the WASP facts. This movie takes place 2 weeks before Avengers Infinity war. Scott and Clint took plea bargains so they can be with their families. Nomad AKA Steve Rogers because he dropped the Captain America alias after the civil war between him and Tony Stark with falcon Black widow and Wanda going on a run with him as fugitive. Going where they need to and saving who they want to without government oversight like The Avengers with Tony. Hold himself did not come back together due to the government not wanting them around that's also why he told Spider-Man the alien weapon dealers were below the Avengers pay grade. Bill Foster AKA Goliath is the original version of giant man one of the other characters who eventually took the Ant-Man identity. Scott Lang himself is like the fourth version of Ant-Man from the comic books and this is where the empty you differ from the comic book because it seemed like only Bill Foster could go to Giant up until Captain America civil war where Hank Pym upgraded the Ant-Man suit. Agent Jimmy Woo was like the comic book version of Agent Phil Coulson but agent Woo came first.
