Ant-Man & The Wasp is an underrated movie. It is a fun, action-packed, and heartwarming film often overlooked in favor of other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. I think that Ant-Man & The Wasp is a hidden gem in the MCU. It is a film that deserves to be more appreciated. If you have not seen it already, I highly recommend that you give it a watch. You might be surprised at how much you enjoy it.

People didnt quite like Antman & Wasp when it first came out, but now its loved.....so going into Captain Marvel, id say dont listen to folk, decide on your own whether you like it or not. For me, i did listen to pple too at first watch and so was biased when i first watched it. But now its actually one of my fav movies in the MCU. Its good, i think you'll totally enjoy it😏

This movie happens in California. Infinity War happens in New York City, in Edinburgh, off-planet, and in Wakanda, over the course of a few days at most. There probably wasn't time for most of the world to have any idea what was going on until it was over. Remember, in the credit scene, we saw that even Fury didn't know anything big was happening until the last minute, and he almost always knows everything that happens anywhere on Earth, before anyone else does.

14:14 My favorite funny moment in the entire film is Hank roasting miniaturized Scott. Ava interrupting Burch’s interrogation, Luis’ storytelling, and the meddling seagulls are a close second, third, and fourth. All jokes aside, my biggest takeaway from this movie is that it’s heavily focused on the father-daughter dynamic. First, there’s Scott and Cassie. Despite everything that’s happened, Scott is very creative about playtime. Cassie also continues to be his moral support, and she’s not mad about his situation. If anything, she’s his beacon of hope when it feels like there isn’t any left. Then there’s Hank and Hope. Last time, Hope wasn’t on very good terms until Scott convinced her through some perspective. After they healed, Hope was finally able to become the Wasp. More importantly, she and Hank were in better sync than ever. And finally, we have Dr. Bill Foster and Ava. She lost her parents when she was young. Then SHIELD weaponizes her. Something worth remembering is that some of them were HYDRA. After it fell, Dr. Foster was the only one able to help her. He also kept her in check. Even after she got desperate, Dr. Foster refused to give up on her.

I believe if you go into Captain Marvel with an open mind you will enjoy it more than some of your KZbin watchers are hinting at. There was a lot of bad publicity when that film came out - some of it earned, some of it circulated by the haters - that colors the perception of some viewers. If you didn't follow all the controversy at the time, I think you will enjoy that entry of the MCU more than people are predicting.

The only thing wrong with Captain Marvel is that her story had to be rushed. Captain Marvel and the Black Panther were supposed to get their own movies after the Age of Ultron. Captain Marvel was even supposed to debut at the end of Age of Ultron, in the scene were we see the new Avengers at the end. It was meant for us to wonder who she was and go see her movie. The problem was that there was one executive (Perlmuter was his name) with enough power to veto movies who didn't want a superhero movie with a female lead (he had different issues with Black Panther) As a result Marvel Studios were not able to come out with Captain Marvel's movie until Disney fired Perlmuter from the studio and put him in charge of the comic books where he could do less damage. Because of all of this behind the scenes boardroom B. S. we get to Captain Marvel very late in the game, and they had a lot to establish about her and not a lot of time to establish it. Originally she was supposed have had 2 movies out by now if a certain exec didn't interfere. Also many people will tell you the movie sucked because they have a problem with it's star Brie Larson.

Great reaction! It amused me that Jimmy Woo was included in this movie. The character has been in the comics since the 50s I believe, originally as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (I remember this from when a friend of mine and I were reading some of his dad and uncle's comics from when they were kids) and then I believe he joined the FBI in the comics before becoming the head of a pan-Asian group of superheroes (another Nick Fury type of character, not a super himself) sponsored by the Atlas Foundation, I think? He's a neat Easter Egg character for those who know obscure facts. Or who read their friend's dad's comics as kids. 😛 Hank Pym arrogant and self-centered? Well, yeah. Like many people, no one impeded his progress as much as he did. Foster's life wasn't destroyed by Pym's arrogance, but Ava's life absolutely was. Pym's kinda a villain really. Ms. October: "That's so cute they're like Hot Wheels sized." Very nice foreshadowing... Mr. October: "There's a name for that." Tardigrades. Real creatures. And just think: there are uncounted swarms of those all around and on you all the time. Actually, don't tell the missus that. 😲 That ending scene with Pym and Van Dyne broke my heart. Just gone...
