I do hope they keep the same actor as the main Kang and they cast other people of different races to play different versions of Kang in different movies like a white Kang in the captain America 4 and an asian Kang in Shang-chi 2 and ect and they reference there Master or say something about the Main Kang before being defeated or they dont even have to lose. They can just be giving a speech and just so happen to say something about a main Kang in there speech like the guy from infinity war saying "Even in death you have become children of Thanos"

Great reaction, Addie. I really liked this movie. I just wanted to say one thing: MODOK is a real character in the MCU. I used to see him on Saturday morning cartoons back in the 80's. Me and my friends used to make fun of him. We used to call him a troll in a wheel chair. Now, that I'm all old and shit, I think he's cool. I hope he's a good guy after this movie.

In particular, I liked that Kang really did seem to care about Janet and missed the connection they'd formed even as he recognised it was never coming back. And that Hank and Janet completely took in their stride that they'd slept with other people over the decades. And that when Scott was being crushed under the weight of his alternate possibilities, and Cassie's voice comes over the coms, and immediately all of them are on the same page, working together, because there's no version of Scott that won't go all the way for Cassie.

Janet being the hero, "Oh, you are killing people!" All of that sh!t, and Kang is over there like, "Oh, that doesn't matter." No BS, at the final part of the Multiversal Saga people will be routing for Kang, or saying that Kang is right, like as Kang said, and the other versions of his and those things, they will destroy the timelines, or the incusions will destroy the Universes and timelines anyway, so there is no real way to save the people that Janet mentions, because they are all going to die anyways, and so they would be left with, "it's either they die, or everyone dies," kind of situation, where sacrificing a few lives and universes means and ensures the survival of everyone else, or at least save as much as can be saved, because in this situation with Kang and the incursions and all that not everyone can be saved.

I'm a huge fan of the M.O.D.O.K. character in the comic books, but I will admit that the portrayal and design of this Modok was not well executed. I really liked this one. It was very different from the other Ant-Man films, but that's not a bad thing. It ties the Ant Family more to the metaplot of the Multiverse Saga, whereas the Infinity Saga had to jump through some hoops to get them involved. While I miss the unique elements of the previous Ant-Man films, it was good to see that Scott, Hope, Cassie, Hank, and Janet can hold their own in a high-stakes adventure against a serious threat.

Scott’s book Look Out For The Little Guy is actually something you can preorder now. What was once a movie prop is now an actual book you can bring home. It’ll hit shelves on Tuesday, September 5th. My favorite funny moments were Scott’s audiobook, Quaz’s powers, “M.O.D.O.F.K.”, “I’ll drive”, Veb running with the pack, Scott hugging Godzilla, and the Quantumnaut with the bridge code. There were four things in particular that I liked about this film: 1.) Scott and Hope now have portable suits. 2.) No matter the situation, Scott’s driving force is his daughter Cassie. All of the possible Ant-Men including Baskin Robbins Scott formed an ant hill to help OG Scott fulfill his goal. 3.) I wanted someone to say the term “alternate dimensions” in the MCU. I’m glad Hank finally did. 4.) The final fight between Scott Lang/Ant-Man vs. Nathaniel Richards/Kang gave us an idea of how dangerous one Kang can be. Now imagine a multitude… They didn’t say her codename, but Cassie in her suit is known as Stature. In the comics, she also had Stinger as a second moniker. I feel like the citrus scene is a callback to Scott needing orange slices after getting a double whammer from Iron Man and War Machine. We didn’t get to see Scott’s friends in this movie, but Veb was portrayed by David Dastmalchian - the same actor who portrayed Kurt. Jentorra was portrayed by Katy O’Brian, the same actress who portrayed Elia Kane in The Mandalorian. Parts of this movie gave me Star Wars, Guardians, TRON: Legacy, and Avatar vibes all at once. The first post-credit scene showcases the Council of Kangs. The three variants that spoke in order of appearance were Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus. The business suit Kang is known as Mr. Gryphon. He’s the head of a company called Qeng Enterprises. The TVA actually pruned a version of his building. Jeff Loveness, the writer of this movie, revealed that parts of his backstory were cut from this film because he felt they would be more fitting for the next upcoming Avengers film which will be the fifth title. This paves the way to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Hopefully then, we’ll know what Kang the Conqueror lost and what the Council did to him. I’d take this rumor with a grain of salt, but in the event that they end up making a second season of Moon Knight they’ll consider making Rama-Tut the next main villain. As for the second post-credit scene, I don’t know if Victor Timely is a member of the council and I definitely don’t know if Mobius regained his memories or not, but for now I’ll take comfort knowing he and Loki are working together again. The adventure continues in Loki season 2. Mark your calendar for Friday, October 6.

Next up, you have Guardians 3 (I'm serious, have tissues ready for that), Secret Invasion (your mind is gonna be blown), "I Am Groot" (which is a series of short films focusing on Baby Groot, the second season of which is coming next month), and of course, "Loki" season 2. After that, you're all caught up. As I said, a lot of the future MCU projects have been delayed due to the strike, and not only that, but Jonathan Majors (who played Kang) is currently struggling with accusations of sexual assault among other charges. People are messed up in the head. The first woman who accused him came forward and recanted her charge, saying she did not give her blessing to have Majors arrested. Sadly, he was cut from a project he was supposed to star in and executive produce, and his role in said project was recast. I really hope Marvel doesn't do the same thing. Majors was a brilliant casting choice for Kang since the character's debut in "Loki" season 1.

Although this movie definitely has its issues, my personal biggest being the inconsistency in tone, I don’t think it’s AS bad as some people make it out to be. It’s pretty middle of the road for the MCU for me personally. Kang has been one of my favorite Marvel villains for years and I thought he was (mostly) done well in this film up until the ending. The thing some people forget is that Kang himself doesn’t have powers, he’s just a human with vast intellect and insanely advanced weapons/tech. Because his suit was destroyed at the end, not to mention he went the entire film without his Time Chair, he naturally wasn’t as dangerous as he would/will be otherwise. And when it comes to this specific Kang, given he’s Kang the Conqueror it stands to reason he’s THE Kang Prime just like the comics and he will eventually return as THE big bad of it all. Yeah there’s the Council of Kang’s featuring Immortus (the one with the emperor like wardrobe), Rama Tut (Egyptian inspired) and Scarlet Centurion, but ultimately Kang the Conqueror is THE Kang to worry about in the end. And if the comics are anything to go off of, the Kang we see in the Loki post credit scene is Kang Prime. In the comics Victor Timely isn’t a separate variant necessarily, but he’s actually Kang Prime in disguise. So although they’ll all play a big role, “Victor Timely” is arguably the most important one shown due to the potential of him being Kang Prime. Whether Kang Prime means Kang from Quantumania in disguise, or it’s a younger He Who Remains during his Conqueror days is yet to be seen. But in the end that’ll end up being THE Main Kang amongst them all and likely the one victorious in Kang Dynasty

I don't know why people had issues with this movie. I thought it was great except for Modok. They really missed the ball on him: too comedic and too goofy looking under the armor. Now He's A Hero, People Respect Him, He Wants To Make Up For Lost Time With His Daughter And Is Happy To Help Out If The Avengers Ever Need Him AND THAT POORLY RECASTED CASSIE HAS THE NERVE TO SAY "THAT" TO HIM!!!??? Oh dial down the melodramatics dude. She was right to call him out, because he was doing nothing with his life. You're all still butthurt over someone that didn't even look like a grown up Cassie, she looked like a grown ass woman and not a teen. She was calling him out for his CURRENT situation which was doing nothing, what did you forget that Cassie wanted to her dad's partner in helping people??? He wasn't doing ANYTHING. Even the whole Ant family calls him out on him bringing up saving the world. Which Hope was there at the battle of earth, did she rest on her laurels?? NO! she started to use pym particles to solve housing and world hunger issue.

And He's Done A Lot More Good Than Just That. Yes, Hope Is Doing Good Now. That Doesn't Mean Scott Should Be Ripped On By His Daughter After She Got Arrested. And Emma Looks WAAAAAAY More Like Grown Up Cassie Than Kathryn. First Of All, They Had To Change Kathryn's Hair. Secondly, Emma Was 16 or 17 When She Played 15 Year Old Cassie!!!! Sorry that you find looking out for people less fortunate than you (homeless) , which I'm sure were people that were displaced during the blip as being "spoiled". And how the fuck did she get Jantorras people killed? Dafuq? How was she or anyone supposed to know that there was quantum people in the quantum realm when the only one that could have shed light on that was being tight lipped about everything. Fun reaction, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), regardless what anyone says. There was a lot of flack about this movie for the portrayal of M.O.D.O.K. and memes comparing the movie to Spy Kids 3: Game Over (2003) & The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl (2005) came out on the internet. My girlfriend & I, alongside a friend of ours enjoyed seeing it in IMAX, though we felt that the prior entries were better.

People say that Kang in Quantumania was underwhelming, and I could see that the first part, but in reality Kang is weakened in this film. A lot of people don't really understand that. Kang is weakened because he is in the Quantumn Realm. Now, if Kang was outside of the Quantumn Realm and had access to time, then Kang would have been more capable and more powerful like traveling through time, manipulating time, and summoning any weapon from any point in time just like in the comics. And I liked how they did this because it proves that a weak Kang, or even the weakest Kang, can be a big threat, like how Kang conquered the Quantumn Realm, like a whole dimension basically, a weakened Kang conquered a whole dimension. It just goes to show the capability of Kang, and I hope that they can expand on this Kang stuff like every Kang after the one in Quantumania will be stronger and stronger just showing the danger of Kang as a whole.

Kang scared the heck out of me in this movie. He came off as someone who doesn't have to shout or chew the scenery because he's absolutely in control, both of himself and of the situation. He was understated and even polite, but I had this powerful sense that him being that way was a choice, and there was another Kang he could also choose to be who I did not want to see. He radiated true power, for me, someone who doesn't have to shout and grunt and make threats because he already owns the situation.

@@purplecat4977 And in the end, he was just barely taken down by five superheroes, a cyborg death machine, an entire civilisation of superbeings in revolt, and an army of giant high-tech superants also with cybernetics - I'm not sure how anyone concludes from this that Kang is a wimp.

@@SunlessNick I think a lot of peoples' complaints had to do with him not being a cartoonish villain, shouting and being evil and... I don't know, like treating Dr. Evil as a role model. The stuff that's pathetic and a little bit funny if you take a step back and really look at it. The fact that Marvel almost never chooses to go in that direction with a villain has a lot to do with why I keep watching their stuff.

Welcome to Phase 5. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania' I liked this film. I loved Alice in Wonderland, Barbarella, Dune, Flash Gordon, Heavy Metal, Honey, I Shrunk the Kid, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Star Wars, Thor: Ragnarok, and The Wizard of Oz, influences in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. I've been a fan of Ant-Man since 1987. Since 1993, I have also been a fan of Kang the Conqueror. Kang's armor is "neurokinetic" and reacts to his thoughts in nature. This is precisely how Kang's battle suit is portrayed whenever Kang appears in the Avengers or Fantastic Four comics. I also loved the faithful recreation of The Council of Kangs from Avengers #292. I had no issues with how they handled Kang the Conqueror in this movie. In the comics, Kang has been defeated many times, but he keeps coming back due to the endless combinations of variations and the fact that no hero has ever killed him yet. If anyone has the ability to kill Kang the Conqueror, it's not the Marvel superhero but himself. Due to the rules of time travel and the multiverse, Kang the Conqueror conflicted with past and future versions of himself and his variants. Kang and his variants are often at war with each other and have killed or destroyed each other. However, a version of Kang will always be in an endless multiverse. Kang's two biggest rivals are Immortus, an older version of Kang from the future who hates his childhood self.

I was upset with the movie at first but From what I heard from the director this is supposed to be a weak Kang the conqueror and that's when I realized that in this movie he doesn't have access to Time or any of his weapons either now I'm ok with this movie and I can't wait to see a stronger version. Or this one but he Comes back stronger and With a Bone to pick with The MCU characters.

This is not bad film though this is worst of out Ant-man films. Biggest problem in this film, there are scenes that scream this was rush job. This is pitty since bit more time, effort and polishing, this might have become best Ant-Man film. But I personally feel Jonathan Majors was good. He has potential truly to become Kang, depending on screen writing. We'll just see if Disney throw's him under the bus because of domestic issues like Disney have had habbit in order to prevent PR problems (Gina Carano and James Gunn to name few but domestic abuse charges are heavier than "unappropriate" tweets.)
