Also known as A Line in The Sand in the vinyl/cassette release. A much awaited track on this channel. Fully restored and cleaned up samples with a modern mixing style.

Didn't know Geoff had passed away until I read the comments here. I played PLOK so much growing up, and it's the kind of game I can find myself coming back to whenever I feel myself in need of something I can just lose myself in for a while. You've done such an incredible job of restoring this track, and explaining just how much the brothers cared about their work and the amount of effort they put into making the most of what was available to them at the time. Thank you for this, I know Geoff wasn't a big fan of the hobby, but I'm sure you've done his and Tim's work justice for many people who love the game.

You know, with the whole story around miyamoto or whoever needing this game to be checked in order to really see if it was a Super Nintendo game, I'm really not surprised because the Super Nintendo coexisted with a computer that could do these graphics and music EFFORTLESSLY, the Amiga. I never thought about it much but this game super duper looks and sounds like an Amiga game.

This video makes me want to play Plok even more now. Even though I had a SNES in the 90s it's one of the games that slipped past my radar at the time. I remember seeing ads for it in gaming magazines but I never saw TV commercials for it and none of my friends had it. A big way we would get hyped on games as kids would be going over to our friends houses and playing them, or renting them on a whim at Blockbuster. I don't recall ever seeing Plok for rent either : (

Oh how I love to hear this song with this much clarity! Just one small detail (not a deal breaker at all): The bass line that plays when returning to the intro (2:26) seems to be omitted in this rendition, which makes it sound just a bit empty. Other than that, you've done a magnificent work once more!

Fantastic restoration work. The guitar tone here is basically the same as Rock n' Roll Racing, which the Follins were writing around the same time as this. If any SNES game was screaming for a restored version, that would be it. So many of the tricks used here were also used in that soundtrack; the work done here would translate pretty well to it.

This isn’t even all that different other than the proper reverb and instruments being able to release without nearly instantly cutting off. (Obviously the sample rate isn’t crunched but that’s different). IMO that makes this the definitive way to listen to this song, it’s so faithful to the original just sounding better. Nearly perfect restoration. And it shows how much of a god the Follin bros were
