@@antzkiwi thanks for the reply. I know I'm just a random person commenting and you're the one actually doing the work, but here are some random suggestions for future videos. If you can share the exact coordinates and exact time it can help folks who want to defend the video by looking it up in programs like Stellarium to see that it's correct. But you be the judge - I wouldn't want to put your camera at risk by revealing its location. It would be neat if you filmed at a time that the moon was in the sky. It would be an additional interesting data point: www.timeanddate.com/moon/antarctica/south-pole It looks like that camera does not take filters, but maybe you could get a neutral density film and tape it on. I know the processing takes a while, but could you record like 48 hours and then pick 24 hours in it when there were the least clouds?

Without knowledge of this technology, it seems to me you could've just taken one of these cameras and placed it on the ground facing straight up and you'd get the same effect, more or less. You'd lose the ability to look down lower than the horizon though, obviously. This way the fe people would shut up about 'seams' lol. Also, maybe if some sort of tint was applied to the lense, the sun's brightness wouldn't be so disruptive to the footage being taken. Just spit-balling here lol. Thank you for the time and effort behind producing this for us to view, by the way.

Would work but these kinds of shots arent taken to try and disprove FE. They would just claim its edited anyway because it dosen't fit their narritive. @@FNARproductions This same inveigler / dissimulator, Anthony Powell, has made several inept attempts to manufacture a convincing "24 hour Antarctica sun" video over the years. In his video _"Flat Earth Debunked: A Time Lapse of the 24 Hour Sun in Antarctica"_ one is immediately disturbed by the astonishingly phony looking sun. Upon closer inspection one cannot help but notice the unnatural looking absolutely static sun rays emanating off the sun (sun rays normally flicker and dance, becoming longer and shorter with each passing millisecond ~ these things don't budge throughout the entire video). The indisputable proof of its being an ill-conceived fraudulent deception comes when you capture a still-frame of the sun, put it in any version of a PC photo studio, and simply decrease the light levels down to where the clumsy copy/paste job magically appears... The duplicity should be obvious to everyone. Anyone who would like to see some of Powell's diabolical dirty-work thoroughly exposed should view the following video: _"Antarctica Secrets - Antarctica 24 Hour Sun Is 100% Fake | Must Watch"_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6vHlqCjjc2UpsU In this video examples #1 thru #5 are photographs of the real sun being critically examined and analyzed ~ example #6 is the fake sun.

@@thefarcountry Hahaha! Just saw the vid you linked and thats the worst "detective work" ive ever seen xD You do realise that didnt prove anything right? Just that the screenshot he took of the youtube vid had alot less information than the photographs he found. The sun's rays are caused by the camera lens witch is why it appears static compares to what your eyes see when looking at the sun. And his last point is just him being stupid. When you look at something bright, the source appears bigger than what it actually is. Try taking a pic of the sun with high exposure, then take a pic with low exposure. Now did the sun change size between pictures ordoes it just appear that way? So yes the sun's diameter was smaller than the tripod legs.

@Alien Kill Squad Man, just make the computations. If the sun is going on a circle above us, the shape of the shadow on the ground projected by the sun via a planted stick would be a circle. I can help you with the maths if you struggle to demonstrate that, it's easy and as you are a great scientist, it shouldn't take you much time. Now, wait for summer, plant a stick (not too complex, so far ?), first take two pictures 12 hours apart (8am and 8pm for example). The pointy end of the two shadows you photographed are made 12 hours apart, so they must correspond to the diameter of the circle, as they are taken from half a rotation of the sun according to FE model. Now take as many pictures as you want in between these two (1 pm, 3pm, 5pm), the shadows WILL NEVER TRACE a circle. NEVER. I've done the test myself. Don't trust me ? Just DO IT YOURSELF, it'll take you 5 minutes TOPS, and then you can argue with other people who actually do the experiments, maths, and everything that allows you to post dumb comments while pooping using a technology you actually did nothing to ever help establish.

The whole reason it’s called Antarctica is because the sun makes an anti arc anti south of the equator and an arc north
@gordontaylor41846 ай бұрын
That isn't the reason. Well done for trying though.

It would be if it was the northern hemisphere, but when you are south of the equator, the sun moves right to left in the sky relative to the ground.

There's no rock or solid ground at the north pole (assume that is what you are referring to?) so this cannot be the north pole.

@@giftofthewild6665 The video was never claimed to be at the "poles". You don't need to be at the north pole to see a 24 hour sun. But there certainly doesn't seem to be rock or anything at Antarctica - it's the coldest place on earth. I don't know this Anthony Powell guy, but this video is obviously involving some kind of editing. You can see the clouds start going in the completely opposite direction between 25-32 seconds. If I saw that I'd be thinking some weird shit is going on. It's not real. I have just a little bit of video editing ability, and I'm able to merge a different sky to an unrelated ground from somewhere else. I'm sure with some more experience, that would be easy.

@flatearthlogic dot net Nope, not mixing anything up. Tony used the term "Arctica" and called it the "center of the world" which I assume means he's referring to the north pole (in the Arctic sea). ANTarctica is the continent on the south pole.
