Ocarina of Time 3D really is the definitive version of the game, taking the original’s code and making tweaks that ANYBODY can get behind, faster text scrolling, using the face buttons for the ocarina, and adding an additional button for an item and the change they made to the Water Temple of color coding the area of where to rise and drain the water for puzzles. Grezzo really did a phenomenal job of taking an all time classic and making it better.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe was technically my first Kirby game and it immediately clicked for me. The art style, the catchy soundtrack, the ideas it had, it was just so cozy and fun. Also the name itself was just a pun for the 3DS. I knew after beating the story (pre-100%), that this series was right up my alley

The 3ds took everything that was great about the DS and kicked it up to 11, and the games it had were amazing. Kirby games like triple deluxe and planet robobot, Mario 3D land, Pokemon x and y and sun and moon, super smash bros, hell it even saved the entire fire emblem series from death with Awakening. 3DS is one of the greatest handheld consoles of all time

So fun fact, Awakening was not the game to introduce Casual Mode. The DS actually got both of Marth's games as remakes, but the second only released in Japan. That game did an Avatar character and Casual mode before Awakening did. That is Japan only though so yeah Awakening basically did it for people internationally.

My favorites include the Kirby 3DS Duology of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot, Pokemon Omega Ruby, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, New Super Mario Bros 2, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!, Yoshi’s Woolly World, the many Virtual Console titles like Super Mario Land 2, and especially Blaster Master Zero. I no longer own my original 3DS and have the New 2DS XL but I still have those fond memories.

Atlus seriously cooked with the 3DS. So many great games, even if most of them were remakes and remasters of older titles. (Soul Hackers, DeSu Overclocked, Etrian Odyssey Untold 1&2, DeSu2 Record Breaker, Strange Journey Redux, Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology, etc) Also please make a Yokai Watch video and make it super in depth. That whole franchise is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. The butchered localization, weird JP exclusive content, bizzare gimmicks for all 3 games like the IRL photo mode, realistic subways, bug catching and fishing, weird way, Undertale-esque FUN events, terror time, gacha mechanics, daily events, the pseudo-morality system and snartle, zombie invasions, etc, the edgy short-lived "shadowside" reboot, the suprisingly dark villains and themes, the odd toys and merch, the weird US Ads for YKW1, the godlike OST for all three games, and the series eventual fall from grace that ended up killing the entire studio (Level 5) are all worth talking about. You could easily make a 3-4 hour video on JUST the Yokai Watch series with how much bizzare stuff and secrets there is to cover. That's not even mentioning the forbidden 4th game that no one liked and the JP exclusive HD collection of the 3DS games on Switch.

still stand by that Pokemon XY are my favorite Pokémon games, they simply mean more to me than basically all other games in the series, both as my first mainline game but also because of how much positive vibes the game gives, it's a game that means the world to me! mega evolutions are awesome, the soundtrack is immaculate and ascends me every time I listen to them, and yeah the game is very easy but that genuinely helps more bc it helps with the relaxation aspect of the games, the story is pretty whatever but it never bothered me, specially bc the competitive of this gen was awesome (helps that the online was by far the best online in any pokemon game to this). I'm so glad these games exist and I'm glad Game freak is giving Kalos another shot with Legends ZA!

I remember I was in 2nd grade when I first experienced the 3ds when my dad took me to GameStop for something and some dudes were playing the 3ds on display you can play with Mario 3d land. I was amazed and watched many playthroughs of 3d land, Mk7, and Nsbw2. I kept telling my parents how much I loved it. They wouldn’t buy it right away so at least once a week I would ask for it to get it for my 9th birthday. I got the 3ds with the 3 games and that was when the 3ds became the most nostalgic game system and it helped me start playing franchises that aren’t Mario or well Wii sports or Fit. Like I got into pokemon not even a year later when x and y came out. 3ds made the most impact out of any system in my life. I’d take it almost everywhere back then.

One of the things I miss about the 3ds is its portability and how streetpass incentivized you to take it outside. Mine was always with me :) the switch is sadly too bulky for that

You ought to add Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to your list. A very, very good game that I recommend to everyone. It's the best place to start for classic Monster Hunter, whether you started in World onwards or are new to the series as a whole.

Not me, I've been playing A LOT on my PS Vita recently, not just Vita games but even PS1 games, it's my favorite handheld, it's got a very comfortable and ergonomic deign, not big and bulky like the Switch, not heavy on the hands like the 3DS, and it uses a micro USB type A charger, very easy to find, I love it.

One piece of credit I will always give the 3DS is that it gave us Mario Kart 7 and the perfect Rainbow Road along with it. Along with a bunch of other things. I love the 3DS!

New Leaf's in-game achievements are the badges and the meow coupons. Also, idk, maybe it's because I'm a loner so I've always played acnl by myself. It's a very quiet feeling game for me so whenever I do go back to acnl I tend to spend months on it living that quiet small forest village life. While I don't really think new leaf is difficult to go back to, I do think that only about wild world. But I also know that the acww fans definitely don't agree with that.

The ink spitting Piranha Plants never actually bothered me because Mario Kart Wii made me so used to it that I'm forever unfazed when my screen gets covered as I've learned to just use the stuff around the ink not covered by it and guide my way like that.

I still play on my 2DS XL near daily. I can't get enough of my DS/3DS game library, and take it wherever I go. I just got sonic and all stars racing transformed (3DS) in the mail recently. Its super fun for sure! And, i beat a boss i was having a hard time on for a while just yesterday on Cave Story (sand zone). The 3DS is an absolute gem. I also keep my street pass on all the time and will be living in an RV come next year so I can travel the country. So, if you somehow get a street pass on your 3DS by chance in the future, it's probably me. Haha!! I've been on pokemon silver all day lol.

The thing stickers also aren't that much of an issue when you can kill the Bosses easily by just spamming a bunch of them. Especially water gun plus boom box combo, that's absolutely broken combo, I think you can also use something to crumple the Bosses aswell (crumple makes them take like double damage or smth) and with the boom box water gun combo you can end Bosses in one turn.

Finally someone who realizes how smash for 3ds is truly a forgotten gem, sure it may be not the best for many people (that thing is very subjective for every smash game is peak on it's own) but you gotta admit it's pretty cool to have a smash game on the go, that alone makes it worth playing
