I think I saw where you two had visited "This is the Place" monument, if that was not it, then it looked similar. Back in the 1980-s '90's, I knew an elderly man whose mother was one of the original Hand Cart pioneers. Thank you for your wonderful channel! That owl is gorgeous! Just amazing!

I think there were lots of antelopes on the island when it was discovered, by Kit Carson et.al.

Antelope Island in Utah was named after the pronghorn antelope that John C. Fremont and Kit Carson observed grazing on the island in 1845:
