The benefit of Javelins is you don't have to pick a 'main'. While drops will lean toward the Javelin you are packing, it won't be exclusive, so if you want to change it up and pilot a different Javelin, you can.

At first, you most probably won't have to main one. Eventually you will though, as the way the loot system is built, getting "god rolls" for gear will be insanely hard. Also, most people will rather pick a main and rarely switch because of time and effort went into learning the abilities and unlocking high-end gear. Just my 2 cents, but I know that's how I'll do it.

Here is my order and why 1. interceptor I like dynamic class the most, in everygame I prefer mobility, I will probably equip it with a sniper to balance the in and out but I will see about that.. 2. Ranger I want my second javelin to be versatile, an all rounder that will let me use it when my main is not so usefull for certain mission 3. Colossus I don't know if I will really take the time to build a collossus, big and slow but still look like a ton of damage + the tank effect, you can go up close but you can't disengage which may be a problem for me because I'm still not sure if I will play solo or with some of my friend (depending if they want to buy the game or not...) 4. Storm to me the storm is too static, it hover most of the time simply attacking from afar, it look flashy but I don't think I will like it that much...

I picked the same order for almost the same reasons. Intercepter because finding weapons, ammo, and gear early off will be limited regardless. Having mobility mixed with mellee gives me a very reliable "do it yourself" suit without all the needed gear Ranger for the same 'do it yourself' reason but only once you get way better weapons and gear since he doesnt have that mobility to keep him consistant. Titan because by that point there are probably a bunch of heavy weapons I found and want to use And storm as my last one because its the most complicated and looks like he benifeits the best from top end gear.

A lot of these attacks and playstyles were in ME3 multiplayer. People keep saying they're ripping off other games, but a lot of this stuff was in ME3 and a little from DAI.

Drawing from other MMORPG experiences, mages are good at clearing groups of trash mobs but when it come to elites and raid bosses, rogues are better on 1v1 high damage output. Since over time this game will very quickly gear towards end game content, high 1v1 damage on end game mobs is very important as well.

An acid build with corrosive spraw and acid bomn for extra debuf with something like an smg and an auto rifle has me intrigued. I wouldn't be able to detonate, but i will be able to prime targets for combos. Or just do extra damage, primarily from my own melee abilities and weapons. It's something I'd like to try out at some point. I hope we get enough drops for the other javelins we arent currently using to make them viable when we do decide to use them because i want to use all 4 at some point and have them all viable

@@davidsimmons4731 it's all gonna come down to the actual play for me. I get a pretty quick feel for games usually and sometimes I'm surprised how a class catches me. I love the concept and skills of the interceptor more so than the Ranger but solo play might be a bit easier with the ranger. I truly have no idea tho till I get my hands on them. The ultrafast interceptor might become my main as I tend to lean towards the melee DPS classes in all games. I too also hope that we get plenty of gear for all Javelins and not just what we are currently in. I'd love to be pretty versatile with all of them.

Haveing a main and at least 2 alt javelins will help with team comp when going into different areas. Also I will need to feel the speed of the game as well as the target acquisition of attacks. That said I like to play fast and love to be a team player, rather than the primary team DPS. Great vid

1. Colossus: This is my main pick because I love being the heavy guy that gets the enemies off my buddies while they are injured. I'm also just the guy that screams "HEY, WHY DONT YOU PICK ON SOMEBODY 10 TIMES YOUR SIZE!" Also colossus is great for detonating and that will be perfect since my friend will be maining storm. 2. Interceptor: this would be my solo pick mainly. He is good for hit and run tactics, is fast and is quite stylish. 3. Ranger: Versatile, simple, and quite easy. 4. Edgy Boi: Not a fan of sitting back and casting spells while also being a glass cannon. If there is one thing I learned in these types of games it's things always go wrong and when all your friends are dead and your the only one left, they depend on you. This character doesn't have that dependability.

If I was to create a javelin it would be one that can fly forever and be extremely resistant to elements(fire,ice,energy ,water,wind, and earth) and be able to heal other teammates. Like a medical javelin that is fast, doesn’t do a lot of damage and has little health BUT is invisible/stronger when is healing someone else/itself. To make it less op(over-powered) when it’s healing others/itself it can’t do anything until the healing is finished,there needs to be a cancel button so they don’t get stuck for however long. I know anyone can heal anybody but I think it would be incredible able to heal your self, I think it would also be amazing to be a survivalist that can burn,freeze,run out of air,ex. And if you play solo with no one to help you and you almost die you can heal your self.

I'd like to know how the Storm javelin works. Like, do they explain how it allows the player to do what it does? All the other javelin make sense - faster, stronger, more firepower, what you expect from an exosuit, but manipulating casting elemental attacks?...

I feel like storm is what most people will go for cause if there’s raids enemies (might) have different element weaknesses so using storm with high damage spams would work out great.

1 - Ranger, 2 - Colossus, 3 - Interceptor, 4 - Storm, in this order at the levels which we can unlock new javelins 2,8, 16 and 24

Storm is a mage type which is what I like. However the interceptor has that close up fast combat that also seems fun. So basically it's gonna be: 1. Storm 2. Interceptor 3. Ranger/Colossus (I'll go tank if it's needed)

This is Mass effect in flying mechs with some interesting mechanics. That’s not a bad thing. It’s a combination of classes and races. Example, the Colossus seems to be based on the krogan, the storm on the adept/biotic class etc. If done right, which it is looking like so far (hope hope) with enough engaging content, it will be a great game.

Yes you can use all of them but first you need to unlock them by levelin up

Definitely the interceptor for me. I main Ash in Warframe. So it's a good fit for me.

I already have 3 other friends who are ready to pre order it with me. As expected everyone wants to play interceptor because let’s be honest, it looks the coolest. What we’ve done is we’re going to flip a coin for whoever gets to be interceptor. The catch is, when you get out you get to choose. So I’m going to revoke my place because I never win coin flips and I’m gonna choose collosus. I really just don’t want the ranger. I hate default classes. Point being, the person who loses the last coin flip will just get whoever is left. AKA not me

I started with the Interceptor, but when I unlocked a second Javelin I chose the Ranger. I love Melee but the Ranger is the better javelin IMO. Can do a lot more with him.
