I’m baffled that flight transactions as they are processed for all politicians who fly for business does not automatically go into a government database. To be fair surely they travel frequently and could easily be missed and the time it takes to undertake this admin takes away from more value add tasks.

These politicians are appalling hypocrites. They should apply the same rules to themselves that they apply to the public service. There is a flat out ban on accepting any gifts. If they had any brains at all they would refuse these upgrades because of the public perception. This is why I despise politicians of all stripes. The rules they make for themselves benefit themselves. Their double standards are sickening in my view.

I honestly believe no gift of any sort is acceptable when in a position of power in Government. So surely chairman's lounge and other perks should be stopped. I also think flights should be better arranged. I have for a long time been against spouses and trust funds been used to set up housing in Canberra then getting taxpayer funds whilst sitting in parliament this is all corruption in my view. They are getting a good salary and if a perk is not available to a normal worker then it should not be available to politicians.
