The smartest move for the Bears is to get a DC who runs a 4-3 but absolutely not a Cover 2 guy as Cover 2 needs a monster 3T + 2 big strong DE's who get constant pressure on the QB. Better to get a smart DC who can get the most out of the Bears current talent and scheme his way into the Bears having a very good defense.

Don't you obtain depth by replacing ineffective starters? Start replacing the oline and those players become depth. Same with any other position group on the field. Upgrading any position relegates the replaced player into the depth pool. Get better starters and you'll be left with better depth players. There aren't too many position groups on this team that are stable right now. QB, WR corp, CB 1, Edge1, TE1, 3Tech are probably the only positions that are safe. They need help on both lines, secondary, RB and LB depth. Funny, at the beginning of the year we thought this roster looked close to ready.

Cole Kmet is the best TE they’re going to get. What are you talking about? He’s had a bad year, but the dumpster fire of chaos has destroyed the will of the entire team. Roquan made it clear he didn’t want be there, and he was one of the ones blowing it when Ravens played the Chiefs. The players are not the problem, they just have no leader.

A 2 minute drill relies on teams playing safe, playing deep while giving the middle of the field to run clock. They do this because they have a big lead. Nobody's playing that type of D on the first drive.

🎯. The GM at minnesota is really great at evaluating talent. Poles signs players that he thinks have a high ceiling but fails to realize these players have already hit there ceiling. Ray Agnew has an eye for talent , specifically with the trenches on both sides! Him and Ben Johnson would be ideal.

When you have QBs playing well including OL. It can go a long way. I don’t think any of the NFC teams are that far from each other including the Bears. The Bears have nearly beat all of them but in that process they lost faith in themselves and they likely don’t want to injure themselves

People don't understand: teams don't practice anymore. NFL teams get 11 fully padded days in training camp. That's it. So I don't know where/how Bears like Tyler Scott, Austin Booker, Kiran Omegadgie and so many of these depth guys evolve overnight.

Ryan Poles’ failure to assemble an offensive line to protect Kaleb is a fireable offense. If I were a team owner seeing my #1 draft pick and supposedly franchise QB leading the league in sacks I would be saying the GM has to go. The Bears are fortunate that Kaleb hasn’t been hurt seriously enough to miss games like Fields was in every season he was with the Bears. These multiple years of failure to protect the QBs, the non existent offense and two 10 game losing streaks are the strongest of reasons for new management. Current management has nothing they can say to justify keeping their jobs, and there’s no throwing yourself on the mercy of the court in football. -My prediction: Poles is out

This whole take is asinine! Eberlose is and was an elite defensive guy and play caller! Also in this defense your DT has to dominate no shade on Gervon but he’s not been consistent better but not consistent. So the back end will suffer particularly the LB’s in run fits. We don’t have the luxury to let good players leave. Especially if the theme is “Roster Depth” chicago media please let’s have productive conversations instead or moronic ones!
