Respectfully the process is part of the problem. I genuinely think the Bears are more focused on appearances and appeasing the fan bases feedback when their goal should be to outline what they want in an HC, to hire people who fit that mold, and hire them. Instead the Bears are more focused on selling us on a process where they cast a wide net, take a month to interview candidates, and potentially let their best options interview elsewhere while they await a second interview by the Bears. They have so many interviews lined up as if that solves the problem. The problem is they don't know what they want or what to do. They only care about perception and getting the fan base to calm down. It's pathetic.

Josh McCown is our Dan Cambell for me…. We need a football personality that knows the game and lead the team. He can hire a staff to call plays. Our great Ditka was hired the same way…. He just knew the game. We’ve seen him play, and we’ve seen his ability to rally the team and the fans love towards his approach of the game. Ask yourself why not, and it is the same concerns you gave everyone else. He’d be a former Bear, with a mind for the quarterback and offensive game.
