It bugs me that there are Coptic Uniates under Rome who accept Chalcedon (but also garbage like “Vatican 1&2) but no Coptic Orthodox who accept Chalcedon. There needs to be more of the Alexandrian rites brought together with us.

The nature of God is such a complex issue no human can perfectly articulate it. We have some of the oldest churches in the world that still function the same way for about 2000 years.... the father of monasticism was a Copt too! ....much love homie !

I just saw this.. truly wonderful and helpful. I looked at comments before i saw it. Someone mentioned some bad sound quality about 5 minutes in, of which you, Trisagion Films, said you were aware, and explained as best as could be explained, what the problems had been. Then i watched the video. The bad sound comes when he is struggling with the demons... and ends as peace returns. Why, i don't know, but i can surely think of a few possible reasons. Glory to God! We need to understand that the desert fathers struggled in ways we can't imagine.. ☦📿☦

Oh Heavenly Father hallowed be thy name, we come to you today in repentance of our sins. We have seen the error of our ways and how sin leads us to seperation from you and our true selves. We ask for deliverance from the evil one, and the wisdom to see the traps that are set for us. Guide us closer to purity so we may reside in your grace in this life, and so we may join you in the eternal realms and not be turned away because of our unclean souls. Make us clean again, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and the name of Jesus Christ, for he opened up the gates of heaven so we may be made worthy and come home. I love you more than anything Father!!!!Jesus have mercy on our souls!!!! Amen!!!!❤️🔥👑🪽 HALLELUJAH!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!

I have been watching this channel and enjoying everything very much. Your hard work is a big blessing. I've shared several of them with my priest who has passed them along to enquirers and catechumen. A small word of constructive criticism, the sound and voice-over crackles a bit due to overdrive around 5:25 - 6:20.
@Trisagionfilms6 жыл бұрын
Yes when we first uploaded the crackling was absolutely terrible! it didn't appear in the editing program or even when creating it... but when uploaded to the internet it started to act up. So since it sounded so bad we actually took the video down and adjusted some things and settled with this. It had something to do with the rumbling sound effect we used And possibly some other technical issues. Thanks for watching!

God can be seen in complete surrender of that which imagines to suffer and struggle; God is in the struggle and in the eternal peace that was there before the struggle started and after it ends. That peace is there during the struggle too but is beyond the reach of the mind caught up in the struggle.

Good program. But please use Coptic music not Arab music in the background.
@Trisagionfilms5 жыл бұрын
What you call Arabic music is a shared musical tradition of the eastern mediterranean which is played by various cultures and not just Arabs. I don't remember who is playing the first piece but the second is played by a Greek. And the other issue is that the Copts don't really have a secular music tradition or much instrumental music at all. When they play music they use instruments like the ones heard in the video.
@imadboles34315 жыл бұрын
@@Trisagionfilms Why do you want to use secular music when your subject is the fathers of the desert. Yes, the Copts don't have secular music but have very rich religious music.
@Trisagionfilms5 жыл бұрын
Because religious music must be used appropriately. We can't just use hymns in a scene where something tragic/Evil or worldly is happening. Besides the music we are using is very close to "Byzantine" music for the most part, so it doesn't stray too far from a sense of mysticism. Also We have used coptic chant in at least one video, the life of Moses the Ethiopian. And to be fair we are putting more spiritual music in the more recent "chronicles of the desert" because it was missing from these first episodes.
