Francis wasn't confident. He was straight up arrogant. He kept treating Anthony Joshua like a small well-intentioned irritation he needed to deal with before he dealt with the big boy Fury, again. From that initial questioning of his chin to that junk about 'if this was MMA rules' was just plain disrespect to not only Joshua, but to boxing in general. And I'm so sick of the notion that the MMA is so much better. Who cares? Firstly, Ngannou came to boxing coz *he* said it's his dream. Tyson Fury and Joshua have never said MMA was their dream, so now we need to keep giving Ngannou props for being in the ring as if he wasn't living *his* dream, and we aren't allowed to call out his arrogance because he's had a hard life? Miss me; I live in Africa. I could give you guys 10 equally heart breaking stories. Great for him, but that's *his* story and has nothing to do with this loss. Secondly, no one except MMA fighters cares about trying to go fight in MMA because there's no money anyway, so who cares about these guys who aren't even being paid for the supposed superior risks they take? I'm glad Anthony gave that venom for the KO; he deserved it.

It was more than a lack of respect for Joshua. Boxing, by many, is not viewed as a real sport right now and that’s just insanity. People are kids mentally

The thing is I can understand why he was uber confident. He was the king of the UFC, just fought and beat (in his head) the best of what heavyweight boxing has to offer, and he’s been fed the information that AJ has a glass jaw. On top of that he’s NEVER been hurt in the octagon let alone in the ring. He really thought this shit was sweet 🤣

@@litothecasual Francis was absolutely badgered by stipe the first time they fought you need to look again. We’ve seen francis on skates before for sure. He was Uber confident off social media and the rich folk that were mega fans. That’s what happened.

Ngannou kept biting on the feints bad... that's showing fear to your opponent...in boxing you don't show fear or be twitchy in front of a puncher... it makes the puncher confident and he's going to let his hands go

Could also manipulate him to do what he wanted. Ngannou basically told AJ what he’s gonna do if AJ does something. Ngannou showed his hand

@@litothecasual i think ngannou felt the power straight away... and it was a surprise to him...not sure why Joshua's record is there for all to see.... everybody telling him how indestructible he was is also very bad .. giving him a false sense of confidence... nobody is indestructible in a boxing ring... nobody

I dont think I wanna see AJWilder anymore. I think the results are bit obvious now
