I don't think Loma is being robbed against Haney. They have nearly the same hit count, while Haney controlled majority of the time. It is ok that Haney won. But, I do hate the amount of hugging he does when Loma steps in. Haney style is literally jabbing and hugging
@litothecasual4 сағат бұрын
Fair for you to say. I did an episode of the Haney fight and I found that Loma won 7-5 WHILE GIVING HANEY 3 of the 4 swing rounds! Ill say this on the matter; A lot of the punches that looked like Haney landed DID NOT land. And we thought that Haney was winning the 1st half yes? Nope Loma actually won 4-2 of the first half and you can see how discouraged Haney was after the break from 5th or 6th. He looked shook up - NOBODY in control would have the face that Haney had. He looked worried. But I digress, 7-5 is still a close competitive fight so I understand one can see it the other way but I feel as though they got it wrong. A fight can be close and competitive but still have the wrong winner. One of the judges scored it 8-4 for Haney and that raises eyebrows cuz thats ridiculous. One more thing, the compubox is a highly flawed metric. I never EVER take it into account when judging any fights. Its shambolic! Sorry for the rant 🙃
@gungrave103 сағат бұрын
@@litothecasual Yeah, but that is the thing. It sounds good. When Loma hit Haney, it doesn't sounds as good. And you really need to watch in slow mo to actually see Loma hit Haney. Added with his "hah!", the judges might sway on that. Was it a robbery? For me, it kinda does, but since it is close, I personally think it is understandable that Haney won. Again, I hate Haney style of jabbing and hugging. Defensive master? Master at hugging and ducking below waist line for sure. It's just that that I think Loma robbed by Haney is a lil bit overblown.

@@gungrave10 well said. Its truly a shame how judges are not allowed to use instant replay in fights like wtf. It seemed like Loma took the championship rounds off. You can't be a great champion when you coast for half the fight and just expect to win cuz you're famous. They're called the CHAMPIONSHIP rounds for a reason. Seems like Loma lacks that killer gene that makes the greatest fighters.
@litothecasualКүн бұрын
Idt he coasted in this fight he was just getting overwhelmed especially in rd 10 & 11. The amount of body shots and lowblows from a much bigger opponent will do that to you. Especially when the opponent never let up the WHOLE fight. You can see Loma go for the kill in the 12th round and he very nearly got it. I have seen him coast a bit in the past but this fight isn’t an example of that

This is how I see the fight: Crawford will start flashy but Canelo will be landing hard punches to the arms of Crawford and overtime Crawford will slow down because of the weight he had to put on and Canelo will drag him to deep waters by targeting his body and will make Crawford quit on his stool.

Inoue has too many tools, speed, power, accuracy, defense, and the ability to make adjustments. His defense is often overlooked because he's very aggressive.
