I feel AJ would beat Fury if they fight because the light always shines over the darkness and the way AJ has approached his boxing career has been much more honest than Fury. He’s always tried to go for the best challenges as well as accepting defeat more graciously than Fury once the dust has settled. AJ always talks about how and he wants it as well compared to Fury saying he doesn’t care about legacy. AJ will get the happy ending over Fury imo.
@craigyp7 сағат бұрын
He definitely could beat him no doubt but I disagree with the other things you said, when he had all the belts bar the wbc he never got close to taking the wilder fight for all of them and that was well before Usyk had moved up. Fury did take that fight and got the job done. Fury also only has the two losses by Usyk and first one I thought he took very well and respectfully but the second not so much, but to be fair the second fight was closer and he prob genuinely thought he edged it. Either way his reaction to the second defeat was nothing close to AJ’s antics for his second Usyk defeat. Throwing the belts out the ring like that was very classless. I have to say I agree with hatman on this one, the timing of this coming together suits fury better than AJ, and I think he’d have too much for him myself. Only way I’d see AJ winning was a stoppage and I’m not sure he’s that same guy no more. I think they should make this fight in the spring, loser retires winner has a final crack at Usyk and then also retires. The pair of them including Usyk have all had great careers and I don’t think there’s anything other than that scenario left for any of them. That’s me also saying whoever won gets beat by Usyk again and he retires off the back of that rather than fight a Dubois again or whoever else. If he went one more time I’d sooner see him drop back down and fight Opetaia, interesting fight that one for sure 👌🏽

My last comment about this fight was it’s just an average fight now, in terms of what it could have been years ago. I’ve slightly warmed to it over the past few weeks but tbh i don’t care if it happens or not. I agree with Hatman’s take that Joshua will take confidence from sparring years ago with Fury but only from a confidence perspective will that be any use to him. If I’m being honest I think Joshua v Bakole and Fury v Dubois would excite me more to watch. I’m glad Usyk whipped both them because they waited far too long to fight each other for the belts.

2:10 sure, except for maybe December 2015 thru June 2018....and probably the 2 years between April 2022 and May of 2024, when he was flagrantly ducking the undisputed fight while projecting that same thing on Usyk and fighting Chisora and Ngannou. Let's get it straight; AJ isn't perfect, but he's never taken 2.5 ears off for "mental health" reasons while secretly serving a ban and railing lines between dozens of doughnuts, has he? Fury's "mental strength" is an illusion at best. I'm not sure who would win at this point, but I hope they do fight and I hope Aj puts that piece of trash to sleep early. Lay the big gear-head to rest; send him off to the WWE with a layover in the Spirit Realm.

It’s far far more risky for Fury this fight than people realise, probably even more risky than Usyk. When he lost to sushi he was putting his no1 spot on the line, against an exceptional fighter. Now he’s putting his no2 spot on the line, against a much lesser fighter. Dare I say it. This is a more risky fight for Fury than the Usyk fight was. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fury swerves it tbh.

The Dubois fight I think AJ was very arrogant and looked down at Dubois, he did it in the build up and that carried into the fight. I'm not saying that because he lost, I'm saying because the mistakes AJ made his performance was worst he has ever fought so many novicy mistakes. To me in the first round straight away he looked to me like a fighter who needed to warm into the fight and felt he could do that with the guy in front of him because he is smarter and much better boxer. Big mistake by AJ because he isn't a boxer he is a puncher and he just let the other puncher in Dubois take the initiative. One other thing I will add is I was suprised Dubois looked quicker than AJ, I expected AJ to be quicker and had him as the better athlete. Immediately after the Dubois fight I watched few rounds of the Klitschko fight which AJ was same weight and he was clearly noticeably quicker in Klitschko fight so AJ has lost abit of that speed and athletism, still an athlete that accelerates well however.

it is interesting how the mentally weak one calls out the supposed mentally strong one.... to take duBois's victory and give it to fury is the mistake most people will make.. my personal opinion this fight is not happening .. fury would rather lose to usyk again than risk been beaten by a "bodybuilder" I don't think fury will give joshua that satisfaction... i think joshua has always wanted to prove he can beat fury.. fury might waste Joshua's time again by pretending he wants to fight then pulls out of the fight at last minutes rendering joshua inactive, the only way joshua can get fury is through public pressure... one way of doing this is to fight the next dangerous man duBois is not fighting and beating that man then rematching duBois if fury is not answering the phone... if i was joshua i will do the unthinkable.. challenge and beat bakole... rematch and beat dubois.. i have always thought fury's public perception particularly in the UK is depended on how good or bad joshua looks...
