Ruiz kicked his ass soundly , fair and square . Joshua is an over rated fighter , and Ruiz is under rated . That sums it up . The sooner Joshua accepts that , the better off he will be . There was another British fighter who in my opinion was better than Joshua , and that was Frank Bruno. Mike Tyson beat Frank Bruno twice. Joshua is only a shadow of a 20 year old Mike Tyson .

I don't hear any aggression in Joshua. I hear an analyst, a chess player, a programmer... he fought Ruiz from his head and not from his heart. Ruiz on the other hand fought from his heart and his head. Ruiz will win again if this analyst shows up in the ring.

AJ needs to drop that “9/10” I win bs. He got outworked, outclassed and stopped, that wasn’t a fluke. He needs to manage distance better, be aware of Ruiz’s speed and power, and don’t push the KO knowing Ruiz has a steel chin. If he does the same thing with the idea that “oh it was a fluke” he’s getting KO’d stiff this time.

Fucking bonkers is what it is. But AJ has been surrounded by sychophants for some time, and that's clearly worn off on him. He talks about 'staying humble', but can't see his own limitations. Worse than that, he still thinks that boxing is an arm wrestle and not a chess match. If bench presses won you fights, weight lifters would be the toughest men on the planet, and not slow, rigid and lumbering hulks with no mobility, wit or guile in the ring. Ruiz wins again.

Absolutely clueless AJ is... Ruiz got robbed vs Parker and sort of was an amateur in those days without even a coach during fightweek. In my book he is still undefeated, got far more experience than AJ, faster hands... its most def not a 1 to 10 chance, more like 50 50.

If we take him at his word here and assume this isn't pre-fight smack talk, AJ is definitely underestimating Ruiz. And that's a stupid thing to do, especially against a guy who's got a mental edge over you. AJ will come back stronger, but so will Ruiz and the problem that AJ has is that he needs to make more adjustments than Ruiz.

@@pretty-micky3737 What? what do you mean "AJ was meant to KO him in the first fight"? he didn't.. he tried, and he got embarrassed. And you're right, Ruiz is not "brilliant", but he's a very good inside fighter with good power. AJ got dropped multiple times, that was not luck in anyway. It should be good competition but I shouldn't have to go through all that to win." So, if you had heard or read an interview a champion's giving to promote his fight that's three days away, and while talking about one of his very recent past fights he says the quote above. A few minutes after you finish reading or listening to that interview, the fight the interview was promoting starts. Than you watch Andy Ruiz do what he did to AJ. What would you think? Lennox vs Tua would be a good blueprint for Joshua to study before the rematch - a big man using his size, reach, ramrod jab and well timed power shots to wear down and dominate an aggressive dangerous smaller fighter... having said that, Lennox had a more well rounded skill set than Joshua with a better back foot game...

The gum-shield . Unfortunately AJ spat it out. Conscious or not, he was trying to gain himself time. It’s an old trick. He was taking big shots by that time. He had to deal with adversity and unfortunately he wasn’t fired up enough when it came. He didn’t have that mentality built up for Ruiz. The ref was probably justified stopping it. Do I think he can do it in the rematch? Yes! But so can Ruiz. A very durable boxing man with tons of experience and great combinations and hand speed. AJ has to fight his fight, not get drawn in close. He has to grow as a fighter and very ruthlessly execute a game plan. I’m hopeful it can happen.🇬🇧

If the ref doesn't stop the fight he's going down for the 3'rd time within 15 seconds. His legs were gone and that's why he hung on the ropes. The ref probably asked him to take a step forward and he wouldn't... couldn't. He's obligated to stop the fight then. After he got hurt he knew he was in trouble. Lost confidence. And when a fighter loses confidence it resembles fatigue... you just aren't getting your stuff off. He was finished from the 3'rd round. The rest was inevitable.

I'm a fan of AJ but he's a bit delusional regarding the referee and the gum shield... AJ spat the gum shield out, it didn't get knocked out of his mouth... obviously the ref thought AJ is taking the absolute piss to get a few more seconds to recover... AJ should have been inching to smash Ruiz and not rest in the corner with his arms on the top rope like he's admiring some view in the distance. Wake up AJ.. don't do that again and you are at your best when you just go out there and seek and destroy like the first round of the Whyte fight.

AJ is the new LEON SPINKS who WON GOLD was 6-0 PAID FOR THE BELT and beat OLD ASS ALI, after that his career went to hell. AJ who WON GOLD at 15-0 PAID FOR THE BELT and fought the BUM Martin, PAID old ass Klitschko who was retired for two years, 41 years old, KOED THREE TIMES, and beat with ease by FURY. AJ SPINKS is a fraud and got exposed. Hearn was paying big marketing dollars to make it appear AJ was a boxing star...even buying the 80,000 tickets in 10 minutes and selling them on the secondary market.

sam jackson that’s what cost him the fight mate .. he took Ruiz for all his other fighters once he drops them, hurt and in panic/defence mode.. but Ruiz is Mexican he is truly willing to fight fire with fire and dished out shots of his own which landed on AJ first.
@Dangerous2099
@Dangerous2099 5 жыл бұрын
He can’t ‘seek and destroy’ against Ruiz, that doesn’t work. Ruiz can take his power, has faster hands and is a better inside fighter. AJ’s only chance to win is to difuse Ruiz from a distance, then MAYBE the KO could happen in the late rounds.

@@marcanthonystephens Nonsense.. if AJ is that bad then the division must be pure garbage then ..Both Fury and AJ got a win over Wladimir ..Fury outboxed Wladimir in boring fight while AJ vs Wladimir was an exciting fight ending in Stoppage.. Apart from Klitschko who else has Fury beaten??? Who else did Fury beat ?? He is now busy cherry picking Dish washers like Seferi Seferi, Pianetta, pizza delivery guy Schwartz and now Uber driver Otto Wallin....Imagine AJ fighting C level guys like Seferi Seferi and Wallin...That's a travesty..Its okay for Fury who claims to be the best to constantly fight Dish washers but AJ has to fight the top guys .. Double standards...

@@TheDslick1 The division is garbage which is why AJ is AFRAID TO FACE WILDER. There is literally no other fighters out there that is doing what Wilder is doing...and that is DESTROYING his opponents. Fury is a BUM. You guys praise AJ and Fury for beating Klitschko and W Klitschko claim to fame was beating Chris Byrd. Chris Byrd was a damn MIDDLEWEIGHT in the amateurs and BEAT Vitali Klitschko as a pro. The Klitschkos are a ILLUSION and you fake fans GLORIFY THEM...they were the reason the heavyweight division was considered DEAD.

Ruiz was better on the night, don't think Ruiz is better in general. Let's see what happens in the rematch, AJ hasn't got to where he has, beating the level of fighters he has by being shit. Whether you like him or not he still has the best resume out there. It's HW boxing, any top fighter can have an off night and every HW can land a shot that knocks your senses out of your head. Take an unbiased view on it without sucking off wilder lol.
