He had to deal with adversity and unfortunately he wasn’t fired up enough when it came. He didn’t have that mentality built up for Ruiz. The ref was probably justified stopping it. Do I think he can do it in the rematch? Yes! But so can Ruiz. A very durable boxing man with tons of experience and great combinations and hand speed.
