AJ likes to stay at range and throw that 1-2 normally, but for this fight he was training to throw an uppercut... which puts him in closer range to get hit. It was a bad idea to focus on that punch, and he had no head movement; he didn't even keep his guard up! I don't think his regular training would have been enough to beat Dubois, but it would have been better than what we got.

AJ is a fighter in the end of the day and will return back in the ring. In the meantime kudos to Dubois for the win. To get in that ring and to walk out proud is no further than the truth If there was gonna be a rematch it will be a different fight for both fighters. They will get back into the gym as champions to my mind and get in that ring again as warriors
