Ruiz was going for the back of the head punch every time AJ was clinching and holding on to him. I am certain you need to deduct a point for for each foul after an official warning has been given.

Surely we can see he thought a masterful fight, is this sport called boxing not brawling. I always saw AJ as stiff and robotic, he transformed into a mover, and didn’t tire like he usually does, kudos for that,

One thing that I really dislike about heavyweight boxing is how out of shape "professional" boxers get Ruiz vs AJ was supposed to be the pinnacle of the division one of the biggest fights in recent times and Ruiz comes in "fat" and out of shape, imigine a footballer, tennis player or any other sports professional entering a pinnacle event like a world cup final fat and out of shape then actually use this as a excuse when they lose

I don’t think it’s the case that AJ will be avoiding undisputed. I just think they won’t be making any offers / any advances. That ship has sailed and it’s all Wilder’s fault. I would wholehearted support Joshua if he never made any more offers to Wilder again. That hillbilly deserves nothing.

You were spot on about what AJ should do, and AJ mainly did what you advised. Ruiz does have poor head movement at range and comes in too straight up, doesn't bend enough at the waist, and his footwork is too slow. Ruiz does need to work on his boxing technique and his disgraceful physical condition, coming in way too fat, should be fighting at about 245 pounds. Came into the ring close to 300 pounds, even put on about 10 pounds more then his obese 283 pounds at the weigh In the day before, unbelievable.

I don't get how Ruiz says he didn't take it seriously when he knew Joshua would be hungry for revenge. After the first fight he was talking about the need to get in shape and improve his game, yet he comes in this heavy for the rematch? Smh. I think the loss to Ruiz was a blessing in disguise for AJ. It's made him a better fighter physically and mentally. The whole process of coming through the rematch has been a massive learning experience for him.

andy ruiz this andy ruiz that, the other day you said, you would bet your last money on ruiz, it`s not logical...after knowing the weeknesses of ruiz. it also means, you`re not trusting the strenghten of aj. aj is an intelligent guy, I knew he can adapt

Ruiz should have lost at least 5-10 lbs for the rematch. Not gain 20. Wtf was he thinking?

I knew this fight would be bad news for Ruiz when i saw how motivated AJ was in the build up, and also how fat Ruiz looked in the weigh in.

I don’t think AJ and Eddie are scared of the fight, they are just tired of chasing him. It’s not worth it, tbh. AJ performance was a complete boxing clinic

it's a little disappointing that a lot of people saw it as a boring fight, I was so pumped come the 9, 10, 11 and 12th round

AJ did very well imo but he got caught too easily when he tried to clinch. He needs to correct that then the performance would have been flawless.

I think Andy Ruiz is a bad matchup for deontay wilder. He’s got an iron jaw, faster hands and better combinations. Wilder doesn’t run, he will be a stationary target for Ruiz and I’m not sure how he would do under the pressure and body shots. If Ruiz can focus on negating that right hand then I’m sure he can win. Imo it might be more beneficial for Ruiz to come in heavy for wilder aswell. To increase his punch resistance and power

If AJ boxes the same way against Wilder he wins easily. Ortiz's small movements and steps to the side gave Wilders all sorts of problems. He simply can't deal with guys that move around. The second Ortiz gassed out and stopped the small steps to the side he got ko'd. When Fury gassed and slowed down against Wilder he got ko'd. AJ's stamina looked very good last night.

Maney Roblez's post fight interview with ifl is interesting. Alluding to Ruiz not being focused for the fight. Great win for AJ, he boxed well and did the job.

I know you’ve touched on this before Hatman, but people hate AJ because he taps into their worst nightmare. A good looking Black man of noticeable physical stature who is a millionaire many times over. This conjures up all types of fear for the haters especially when it comes to their wives and girlfriends who secretly wish that AJ was serving them a portion.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👌🏾
